I tryed SE, Samsung and Motorola. Siemens also. For me it fits like a glove Nokia. My second preference is SE but they got slow processors and that stupid RETURN button. This i don't like it. For me 6230 is everithing that i want and the new 6230i it's gonna make me very happy. So i will buy it as soon as it appears. Please stop saying that X phone is crap and Y phone is the best. What you like is the best so it's a PERSONAL opinion. Stop judgeing.
Somebody asked if the phone has camera zoom. It seems it has 3x digital zoom. For such a small phone the display seems ok. 208 x 208 would make him very sharp.

I am going to buy the 6230. Will someone tell me fast if the 6230i is releasing soon in Asia(India) and if i should wait.Let me know the cost too..pplllzzz mail me..thanks

may somebody let me know if the screen size of the 6230 and 6230i is the same. the resolution is different for sure.

Hie, may I know this N6230i will be released at Asia country or not? This phone offers good specs and I can't get my hands on it.
And how much will be the selling price at Malaysia ? Thx...

i have the 6230 and the 6230i is almost the same except the camera and the menu button... the nokia team must of been very lazy trying to copy the exact one

pixel! don't you know what is pixel?
it's got nothing to do with display screen size... it's just the amount of dots.
example, your 15inch desktop monitor can display 640x480 pixel or even 1024x768pixel... it could do the same on a 17inch monitor too!
so, the 6230i displays 208x208 PIXEL - on the SAME SIZE of display - so, it's sharper, that's it.

hello Jd3RuL, the posted data can be true if they make the pixel size smaller, that means with N6230i, we will get sharper pictures, not larger picture...
So, i don't think this is a ghost phone. I personally experienced this on Siemens phones before.

hey people... i don't know what's going on with this phone ... Look at the N6630 picture. It's screen size is 176*208 pixels and N6230's screen size is 208*208 and is 2 time smaller . ?????????????????????????? I think Nokia Company has launched a ghost phone :P :))

I have been a user of the Nokia 6230 since 31st October 2004. After seeing N6230i, I'm quite amazed with Nokia after juicing up its features, especially fixing the 5-way directional pad that some people complained in the N6230 which they turned to a small 'joystick' in the N6230i. I'm also shocked that Nokia even enlarge the screen display and adding a 1 megapixel camera to it.
I'm planning to buy the N6230i after it's release :D

the display of the Nokia 7280 is 108x204 & the screen is so small..so i think we have a live example from the same company ie Nokia that they can put such big resolutions in smaller screens...By the way i always thought the Display of the SE S700 was out of the world...but after seen the 7280..was gettin a wierd feelin that this lookin better even though it was so small..after some time i found out why..Well because the Display pixel density of the 7280 was higher than the SE S700..

How is is possible:
208 * 208 pixels....
that has to be 128 * 128 I guess?
Look at the 3230, it has 176 * 208 pixels and the display is bigger!!

If they could not use a bigger screen keeping the same body, they should have modify the body and make a different looking phone. I guess it's just a way of making as much money as possible from a phone already getting old after one year. Frankly, how is possible to sell a 1 Mp phone whith such a small screen, even if it is a good one ?
I have already a 6230, and my next phone will have a very big screen,i am tired to look at my pictures on a stamp size screen.
The new SE 750 looks great, or the Nokia 6681...

I dont say that this one isnt good, but it cant be comparred with w800&k750i. Same design, a little more things added, a lousy small display and a crappy menu.
Nokia may be no 1, but just only in selling, and this dosent mean that makes the best fones, people just keep buyin because they havent tryed anything else. Cheers
