Hi there this is the guy with the 3220, about the beep sound even mine does that it says so in the manual so the other person can know you r recording them since its invasion of privacy. Now pliz answer my ? About the mp3 play of the 6230i is it good?

there is a beep sound for every 5 secs while recording the conversation during a call..
how can I stop it??

Hi guys am writing this query on my nokia 3220 which i want 2 replace with a 6230i i know its awesome but i want to know about the sound of the music player through the headset does the equalizer help? Is there some bass through the headset supplied with the phone, i know it does not sound like a sony ericsson k750 or w800 but those are too unreliable

@Dave (your pop-port connector) is broken take it to a nokia repair shop theyl fix its not a serious problem but it can be fixed in 1 day or so.....

PS...i've read that the best phone Nokia has made in even the most remote areas for reception is the 6010 and if I can get my hands on one I'll be happy.

I've had this phone for 2 yrs my third choice after taking two others back. I figured paying a higher price would get me better reception..NOT. Tons of bells and whistles but every single call and I mean every call gets dropped or we play the "Can you hear me now" game. This happens despite how many bars I have! I've called the company a thousand times to work out any glitches nothing ever resolves no matter what we do. I might mention that it might be the company we are with ( Cellular One ) because everyone I know who has this company has the same problem no matter what phone they are using. I can't wait for Verizon to hit this area and if they aren't better I'm goin back to a phone on the wall! uggggggh cell phones

I hava a 6230i. Great phone, but here's my problem: when I try to connect the USB cable to the PC, a message comes on my computer screen saying "USB device not recognized". Plus, I'm having trouble listening to music on the headset as well.
Could there be a problem with the port on my phone? How should I fix this?

hey my BIG QUESTION ON THIS NOKIA 6230i if it can video call if u buy a camera like the 6260 it can videocall because 60% supported by 3G pls tell me.........pls email me.......... :);)

d best phone ever of nokia!!! everything is good and u can use up to 1 g mmc. really good nice quality... everything from fm, music player, pictures, it's even better than other 2mp cp coz d shots --- really wonderful my friend even willing to trade here se k610i (2mp w/ 3g calling) coz she loved my nokia 6230i's cam cuptured pics... nokia 6230i rocks!!!

The camera sound can be turned off by going to the camera settings and deactivating " CAMERA SOUND" It's easy ... ;)

wow this is one of a kind cell all that i need is all in the cell. ive used it for a year and no complaints at all i can change the memory, the sound is great,i can change the covers, the camera is good i mean what more can you ask for. i personally reccomend it. its one of the best nokias ive bought so far. cudos.

can anyone tell me if you can video call on this phone? like the 6630 you can buy a video stand or a camera that has 3 mp and 20x digital zoom for the s60 phones pls tell me........pls...... :))

Hi everybody. I'm a cell phones fanatic, i have had about 25 including Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and Sony Ericsson. the best phone i ever had is the NOKIA 6230i. It has not defect in any aspect, the design is very serious, is very solid without creaky noises, the reception is great, excellent screen resolution, slot for MMC memory card and supports up to 1GB (i´m trying to use a 2Gb if it runs ok, i'll tell you) a very simple but excellent mp3 player and FM Stereo radio. This is a better phone than Sony Ericcson w810 or similars; ok it does`n't have a 2mp camera but takes great pictures with great resolution. Your best Choice is to buy NOKIA 6230i
