Anonymous, 03 Aug 2008hi friends, In my 6233 I am not able to see the call time ... moreyour right.as i know there is no way to see the call time untill it end. but you can try this. when your in a call go to the MENU > LOG > CALL DURATION. And there you will see your active call duration. and you can end your call from there by pressing end key, without returning. Remembering the numbers will make you easy to do this. EX: MENU> 3 > 7

Same applies with Cyber-Shot SE phones vs 6233
6233 has everything, but the camera could be better
if you want a better Camera Phone in the same price Range
K800i and K550i are the Best Choice
6233 is still a Great All-Rounder for its price
its all my previous posts

if you want a Great Music Phone > Walkman Phone
if you want a Great Camera Phone > Cyber-Shot

F.E.A.R., 03 Aug 2008so i belive that 6233 is more better than a walkman phone i... moreThats what iv done, put a Walkman Theme on 6233 with walkman icons and downloaded KD Player
it does feel like the W810i in some ways
i have had to spend extra money on making the 6233 to be lik the W810i
themes and KD Player are free
but Nokia 3.5mm jack adaptor cost me 2,000 riyals i got it from Dubai
and earphones cost me £5
so thats about 25 just gone on making it a Music Phone
with W810i i payed £80 and got everything..
but still 6233 has more features and is more value for money as a All-Rounder
the choice is down to the buyer
for a Good All-Rounder which is capable of doing things > 6233
a Great Music Phone > Walkman Phones

( J2ME = a java version ). symbian, UIQ , Smartphone , softwares are not compatible for 6233. try www.getjar.com for free java softwares. some java softwares contains two types of files. .jar and .jad , download .jar file

hi friends, In my 6233 I am not able to see the call time running background during call. hence i am unable to know how long call is made. Its only After finishing the call i get to know about call summary. Plz help me to track whats wrong with it.

Dani, 03 Aug 2008Theres 1 thing which i mentioned in my previous Walkman ear... moreso i belive that 6233 is more better than a walkman phone in same price. i also dont like the interface of 6233 music player. but it does the job. in sound quality and
loudness 6233 comes out than walkman. so the 3.5mm jack wont be a problem. even with the HS-23, it performs well. if someone needs the total walkman look for your 6233, use a walkman theme with icons. and try the KD player. and do as dani for headset

Dani, 03 Aug 2008Theres 1 thing which i mentioned in my previous Walkman ear... moreim agree with you dani but, previously i had a W700i with me. and i was fully satisfied with it till i get my 6233. because of mega bass. i thought that its mega bass eq is the best bass eq in all phones. but when my bro show me a 6233 with a normal headset( HS-23) i compared it with my w700i,
i found that 6233 have more louder sounds, more bass and treble than my walkman in headset and in loudspeaker.

What make me disappointed with Nokia 6233 is that it's impossible to send picture message (not MMS). I really love it with stereo speaker. When I set volume to maximum, it's very loud...!!!!

Theres 1 thing which i mentioned in my previous Walkman earphones in 6233 testing.
when the Walkman earphones are on W810i with its own Walkman Adaptor and when listening to Music on W810i sounds already Good when its on Default on the Equaliser, so in conclusion Walkman Phones are Naturally Great Sound Output For Music without changing anything..
were as with the 6233, you would need to buy a Nokia 3.5mm jack adaptor and some decent enough earphones! and then Set the equaliser on 6233 to get the Good Output!!!!!!
so Nokia really has ALONNG way to go to reach Walkman Phones in terms of Sales package and Sound Quality and Music Players
so lets get this straight
Nokia 6233 has Good Sound Output when the equaliser is set to FULL, but has bad equaliser settings
Walkman Phones already have Good Sound output without changing anything.... and has really Good Equaliser settings e.g. Treble Boost, MegaBass, Bass
Nokia 6233 Music Player is abit Boring, but does the job
Walkman Phones have the Walkman Player which is Good
Nokia 6233 doesnt come with 3.5mm jack or good earphones
Walkman Phones come with Walkman Earphones with 3.5mm jack in the adaptor wire
6233 is a Good-Allrounder i soppose it isnt a Music Phone so its not got anything to be a Music Phone, although it good sound output and Stereo Speakers for playback
Walkman Phones are Made for Music and have it all for Music!, like they come with good earphones have Brilliant Software have nice designs 3.5mm jack in the adaptor and Naturall Great Sound Output
and same with XpressMusic Phones and N-Series
they have 'Sound Chips' to improve sound - Which SE Phones already have Great Sound quality anyway..
and 3.5mm jacks for people to put to their own earphones in....- SE Phones come with great earphones and 3.5mm jack in the retail package
so if anybody is choosing between a Nokia 6233 or a Walkman Phone
Nokia 6233 is Value for Money and a Good All-Rounder but if you use for Music you will need to spend more Money on it.....
(with that extra spending you could get a Music Phone in the first Place?!)
but if you just want a Music Phone i mean a Proper Music Phone, get a Walkman Phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

... moreHey Dani, I have just bought for myself a Sennheiser MX500 headset and right now I can listen to my songs in loud volume already!!! Horray!! But the sound quality constantly remained the same even when used with that Sennheiser headset. I was unable to find the Sennheiser CX300 headset that you've mentioned because there is only a few number of Sennheiser headsets here. And I have already gone to the iStore in the hope to find the CX300 but there was none.
Anyway, can you help me choose among these Sennheiser headsets? I already bought the Sennheiser MX500 so I'm not gonna list it again.
Sennheiser MX300
Sennheiser MX700
Sennheiser MX70
Sennheiser HD205
Nokia HS-81 Stereo Headset(Included in the list because it is manufactured by Sennheiser)
Those were the only Sennheiser headsets available here so please help me decide.
And also, if you can recommend any other models of headsets from the other manufacturers (e.g. Phillips, Altec Lansing, Sony) that offer nice sound quality, please let me know by posting it on the N82 forum.
P.S. Sorry if I post it here also because most people on the N82 forum are quite busy debating with the "Which phone is the best" topic so they seldomly respond to people with questions.

well this is what iv been up to experimenting with 6233
i have a W810i, i took the Walkman earphones from it
and i have a 3.5mm jack Nokia adaptor for 6233
what i did was set all the Bar on the equaliser all on FULL on 6233's Music Player !
plugged the Walkman earphones on with the Nokia adaptor hooked it all up to the 6233
Listened to some Music..
the Sound Ouput on 6233 was Louder and DOUBLE that of W810i's !!!!!!
6233 really does have POWER!!!!!!!
Dayum i mean its better then a Walkman Phone then?
If the Output is better on 6233 then its better at Music!!!!!
Nokia well what can i say? is this the 'Walkman Killer' trick you had up your sleeve?!!!
