hmm dear wxyz....
it seems 6233's firmware version 5.45 and above have this pink line on top of the first frame of video
but it disappears after the first frame....but if it really bothers you much I think you wont get the pink line on the first frame of the video if you focus the phone on your subject for a second before pressing "record"

golden chariot, 11 Jul 2008I bought 6233, 3 months back.... its really good... but no... morehey golden chariot.. u can just change the settings for your video.. go to camera, then settings select video length and put it into maximum. and change the directory in saving videos. put it in ur memory card. gud luck with ur phone.

this is a great phone. im using it for almost 2trs and its really great. its sound quality is great and loud. this is a 3g phone, u can video call but it lacks 2nd camera. i already put some java applications and it works great. and i added some themes and it is really fun to add themes. about the camera. it is great and very clear, vivid images. about the video thing, it has very good quality but i have a problem with the pink line thing at the top of my recorded vids. plz help. or is this a bug?. actually it lacks flash and auto focus. and the music keys. and it is not slim.

Hi I've been using this model for 2 years and I must say this is one great phone. i did experience a very weird problem though where for some reason my calculator just vanished. I exchanged my phone for the same model and yet again it happened.I did get it checked out and i was told to format and re-install my software.I would like to know if that would solve my problem.. thanks alot

i was using this phone for more then 2 years. Initially i also experienced the same type of problems. 1ce i reinstalled software in nokia care i got it through..

i bought 6233 by this yr jan only.. but now it is creating some problem... video was not working two weeks back.. when i resrtarted it became alright.. now contact details is strucking and cell is getting hanged... previous technique is not working now...

Hello pplz as i told u b4 my hands on experience on my nokia 6233 yesterday i seen brand new 6220 its gorgeous but price is very high coz its carl zeiss optics 5 mega pixels xenon flash except phone got nothing its symbian s60 3rd may its upgrade of 6233 but how can be its not have stereo speakers and what u suggest pplz java is best or symbian i know da difference like softwares issues but im asking to you hope i get good reply thanks take care

I bought 6233, 3 months back.... its really good... but now i found a peculiar problem.... when i start video capturing it is giving a message " Cannot record video for MMS change settings" and it goes to stand by mode.... but camera works well.... i'm not able to sort out the problem.... please help....

how can i manage the ff/rew intervals on this phone?there is no settings for it in this phone.it is one of its great disadvantage.

I had used this phone in the past, November 2006 to be exact until May 2008.
I want to be a leaving witness to the greatness of this phone. My phone never broke even once, and have been very much satisfied with its performance.
The only problem with this phone is the casing specially the back part, its rubberized and can easily be detached.. I have change like 3 times but i have no qualms because i'm fun of customizing my cover right there and then..
it is the best on its class, 3G, MP3, VGA video, Bluetooth with A2DP, FM Radio, 2MP camera, Micro SD among others, a feature pack device yet affordable.
The best value for your money..

very good fone i have purchased it for Rs.7000 indian money.it has high quality sound like express music sets,support mp4 videos.but i m not impressed with the still picture quality instead of 2mp cam it has. but the video quality is very very good bcoz of 640*480 resolution it can record. very first set,i hav kingston 2GB microsd card inside it but no probs with speed & performance.it has also mass storage mode for that i can store data without using the nokia pc suite. i also use it like pendrive.the software setting is also very very good, it has all the good mobile call features like full screen photo call, call recordings, assign different ringtones & videos to different contacts,active call diverting.and many mores.it has also 3g network and infrared , 4 that i can interact with any mobile by bluetooth & infrared. the mobile can beat N72.
