Gee Guys!!! I missed this forum, hey, Dahni, I thought yuor not going to this forumn again?? ahehehe, My Nokia 6233 still works fine after 3 months of owning it,, but sad to say, my left speaker started to creaks, maybe due to over use of the loud speakers, sigh, im didappointed it didn't last long, but interface is still great, i can really do great things on it, my 6233 is the one last thing i hold before i sleep, and the first thing im holding upon waking up,

A great phone, this is really awesome, btw, ive jsut updated my firmaware last 2 weeks ago i think, my battery has much longer life now, ahehehe,

I remove the crystal casing, so now it is more prone to scratches, but it is stil stylish, silver borders are still shining, black as in jet black, camera is still working fine,

    just one thing

after recording some videos, Why is there a pink line on the top of the videos, do some of you experienced the same thing???, even if adfter i updated my firmaware, still there,..

sir TI I believe 3g speed maxes out at 384 kbps and 6233 supports only 3g so...It probably cant do more than 384...

HSDPA(3.5g) phones could do that however...^_^

LiT, 11 Jun 2008thanks fusion :)Glad to help. Try setting the configuration I gave to you. In the event that still doesn't work (maybe i missed something) then it's the only time when you need to contact your service provider for the GPRS settings. Let me know of the developments.

Go to Settings - configuration -personal configuration settings, then choose "web." You'll find the fields to be filled out with the settings I gave you. Next, go to settings - default config. settings. Look for "O2" and activate it.

Better yet - if you have the time - bring it to your service provider (O2) and they will activate it for you by sending the settings thru your fone. Once you receive the settings, it will automatically be saved to your fone once you "save" it.

Try calling them and ask if they can send the settings to you.

I like it. Its a great phone. Normally, I don't like nokia models but this one I really love it. It is very handy for my office use. I recommend Nokia to continue this model with new version of it.

even though n70 as a smartphone, may outperform 6233 in terms of "what it can do"

6233 is better in the more "noticeable aspects" such as,

                                    screen(bigger resolution, 3d icons0
stability( well there is no question both phones are prone to hang/crashes but 6233 only crashes when you access the memory card and it cant read the files...but in n70

sometimes though it is still working...you cant receive text messages unless you restart it

                                    speed much faster than n70

java performance...you can google it up to see which is a more powerful java performer
                                    video recording
                                    speakers
