Raj Kumar, 26 May 2008I must congratulate to all for sharing valuable experiences... moreAre the themes that you are using in the 240x320 resolution ?? If not,then it must be the reason why. Also, some themes have an incompatibilty issues like when you apply a theme that has a 176x208 resolution on a phone that has a 240x320 resolution, the phone might not work properly for that case.

There was something earlier about converting files to 3gp format... imo mp4 format is a lot better quality than 3gp ;)

I must congratulate to all for sharing valuable experiences and suggestions. I'm using 6233 phone for last 2 years. whenever I apply some particular themes(such as clocks, or animated pictures) some works very well and some doses not, means front screen does not show clocks and next label is ok. Please help me what should I do. I would be grateful to all.

GREAT!!!...really GREAT PHONE..... Feature rich phone for 7000 bugs(Indian rupees)... much better than N70(Rs 9000)... compact stylish design... superb sound quality(even with standard stereo headset provided,u'll get more when upgraded)... stereo loud speakers..superb picture quality(day light)...high resolution video recording(640*480).. 3g..damnn superb display(240*320)..smooth keypads... better sound quality while calling...upto 2Gb of external memmory with no change in speed and performance(N70 will get stuck even with 1G card)... Is these are enough 4 u?..then go buy it.....I'm using it...

Aside from the Nokia HS-45 and HS-28 headsets, you can also try the Sennheiser HD205 headset. It's really great! I have tried using it at the Nokia Store being used together with the Nokia 5310. It costs of about Php 2,000+.

Guys... Q and A,
what apps can you install on a 6233? like a New Music or Media Player? i'm thinking to buy 1, too bad theres no new 6233 here in the Philippines, only 2nd hand or reconditioned phones. The next best thing is a 3110c and 6300i. also, can u give a good set of earphones for a Music Lover. thx!

6233 is beta dan n70 anyways.i had a n70 n it used 2hang like hell.i dunno how many times i tuk out d battery n threw it on2 d bed in fustration.its d slowest fon i eva had(even wid 256 mem).

6233 may not be as popular as n70
but do we have a problem with that?
makes 6233 users even more unique hehehe^_^
its a bit unfair to compare an n70 smartphone to a regular (yet high powered) phone like 6233
but the key where 6233 dominates smartphones in general, is the speed and how user friendly it is
load up an n70 with various applications with a 1gig memory card and you will see how slow it is...
even when performing simple tasks as texting...n70's speed is greatly affected when the memory card is almost full
try loading up a 2gig card on the 6233
and you will see no decrease in it's speed nor it's performance in basic tasks such as texting etc...
opening the gallery on a ful 2gb card would be a bit slow for 6233...but it's worse on the n70 >_<
even the smartphone 6630 beat n70 anyday in terms of speed...
check the symbian freaks forum there was a comparative on which phones were the fastest to launch java applications
n90 was somewhere in the 40th place n70 was at 30 plus
and 6630 was at 20 and 6233 was placed 9th place
w900 was only ahead by one at 8th place
this comparative was pre n95 era...and the top was n93 followed by n73...

KUNAL!!! What is the cose of that problem? The problem is this: In the phone there is a two "Invisible" files called "Themes preview" and "Themes Active". They are for temporary and active files of the themes loaded and used. And if you play with themes very often, these invisible files are becoming full of fragments of old used and previewd themes. But there is a way to clean that files and back the int.memory to normal.

Mr.Carloud!!! I Fix the problem with one software "MobiMB", so, now I realy don't have to go to the service center. But it is interesting how you manage to save some free space (MB) in your internal memory of phone. Becouse I was doing same thing as you...often changing themes, and that was eating my internal memory. Thanks for contact me!
