Sumtimes fon is not all abt features or breaking barriers.its also abt quality.u gotta understand dat bro.i agree nokia makes feature packed fons but in d process dey make it unstable(freaking restarts/hangs all d time.)d fon itself cant take d loads of des features den wats d use of it?right now nokia is d leading unstable fon maker in d industry.

@dani= so to u low volume doesnt matter but to all music lovers it matter see even n81 is a great music phone but it cant competes with n91 which got amplifier to boost loudness, and u calling walkman phones r solid hehe just think about that they got great problems, and ya walkman phones just got good pairs of handsfree but their sound quality is wayyyy below, i dont know why people blame nokia for bad sound after nokia made n91 and n81 just tell me is there any SE phone that can compete with these two, and i have notice that u tell everyone that 6233 is great but whenever someone caught u up with SE u just hammered 6233 and started to give his negative points over SE, its wrong 6233 is way way superior to w580

W700,w800 r made of cheap plastic?i hup its a joke.i had w800(also used w810 n w700)n i know how durable dey r.i dropped my w800 million times but never experienced any sorts of probs wid it.it didnt even restart once.now cud u plz tell me how many times ur 6233 restarted after buying it?i hup u will give d true ans.

...all of a sudden all SE phones are Crap becuase 6233 has VGA Video and Stereo Speakers and Great Feel....
sameer let me tell you into something. i own both 6233 and W850i and let me tell you the REALITY of all this so called *Cheapness* of SE which you say..none of it is true.
right here goes.
6233 - Designed for Business Users, doesnt appeal to Young people like me.
W850i - Appeals to young Users. bair in mind Young Users like me dont neeed all these Busines features that in 6233 LOL!
next bit Music Playback:
6233 - Stereo Speakers WOW! ...they are USELESS all they are is Loud? wow..now im going to blast my Music on the streets like an someone would LOL
W850i - Walkman Player mixed with the IN-EAR-Phones is just an Amazing Experience!!!!!!!
Bettery Life - SE
Build Quality - SE and Nokia are both SOLIDLY Built !!!!!
Loudness - 6233 wins. but hasnt got good sound like SE has.
making a Loud Phone does NOT improve Quality.
SE's maybe Low volumed. but have you heard the sound quality? its Top Notch.
Video - 6233 has VGA Video...this is basically a comback on SE's Walkman

@dani, i was seeing urs comments on nokia phones, u r very negative about them, have u ever bash any SE phone, nokia is an inventer of mobile technology now, its breaking every barrier and look SE they r about 2 years backward,still doesnt go beyond 262k screen,stereo speakers,30fps video recording,QVGA screen,3.5 audio jack,faster processar and lots more and just look nokia they got allllllllll, u said that new express music phones looks like toy then tell me doesnt W960,w700,w800,w810 looks like a cheap quality mobile toys, they r sooo useless even mine 3 years old k700 got a great buildup quality than these useless walkman phones and now i know that series 40 is much better than walkman OS

the screen quality is superb. with 1gig memory it plays mp4 videos abit lazily and doesnt have a dedicated video player.it still has the basic nokia look and needs to catch up with SE K800i sleek design.Nokia 6233's loud audio reason why i sold my SE K750i

i had priviledge to use w700 for 3 days and to me its a horrible mobile like w800 and w810, built up quality is cheap, screen is of cheap glass,music quality is soooo bad and even sooooo low than cheap chinese mp3 players and it feels so bad in hand like toy thank god i never buyed a walkman phone because all of them r made up of cheap quality plastic, 6233 feels sooo great at hands and now i understand why nokia is a leader, sound quality of sony walkman phones sucks they r tooo low and bad even with good quality hansfree and if nokia started to ship great handsfree like in 5700 then to me its bye bye to walkman phones

Thanks for the prompt response! Yes i agree! I loved all the features of the N81 EXCEPT the rigid, stiff keypad and the hefty weight.. In contrast, i also loved the Samsung i450 EXCEPT the uncomfortable gallery view that somewhat spoils the picture browsing experience. So maybe i'll just have to wait for the 5320 Xpress Music.
Lol.. Maybe you find the 5320 XM like a kid's toy because of the structure and design of the keypad, right? :D Well it could have been more visually striking if they only made the keypad a normal direction pad. Agree?.
Anyway, i will still go for the 5320 XM because of its features. It's preinstalled with the full version of Flash Lite 3 which is said to handle Flash Video and Javascript flawlessly and of course, still equipped with the latest Symbian S60 OSS Web Browser which is indeed using the same open source core as the Apple's Safari Browser (my opinion is, i guess the only element that made the Safari browser win over the latest version of the S60 OSS browser is the touchscreen interface.) But that was just my opinion though. :D Correct me if i'm wrong.

Yep, iv had loads of phones Thank God:) and iv tested loadss aswell.
iv had a N81 8GB, let me tell you about my Experience
Keypad = Soft to touch, but bad to press to STIFF
Samsung i450 is a better Phone even though it lacks some features that N81 8GB has, still i450 is a better phone for Telephony
N81 Telephony Lacks its more Multimedia
this is were i450 Gains aswell as Multimedia

Hmm 5320 XpressMusic is a Nice phone as in Feature wise its Great, but it Looks like a Kids Toy one of those Sponge toys everytime i look at the 5320 im like ewwwwwwww
this is one reason i dont like the XpressMusic Range. becuase there designed like Kids Toys. there not 'Manly' at all to Kids Toys LOL
this 6233 looks to Businessy for me, even though i have it but to embarrased to use it in school becuase il look like an Grandad with it
N-Series phone are too BIG and Thick. even though there ok Loooks wise, N95 8GB and N82 are appealing to me and 6300

Hey Dani! You had a lot of phones right?. Can i ask if you had an N81? Because actually, i am comparing the Nokia N81 from the Samsung i450. But after that comparison on the store, i was left undecided and ended up buying a laptop instead of a phone and i'm just planning to buy a phone on December. Well if you had an N81, will the keypad be more comfortable with several usage on the keypad of N81? Because i really find it rigid and uncomfortable for texting that's why i never bought it and just to be honest, all my excitement were lost when i tried pressing the keypad so i didn't tried to turn on the N81 for testing. The Samsung i450 on the other hand provides good keypad and i tested it for a while and took 3 pictures but when i went to the gallery, i find the i450 not so good in the gallery speed in browsing the pictures because Samsung only left a list view of the pictures on the gallery and man, i personally find it slow.
Maybe i'll just have to wait for the 5320 Xpress Music. What do you think about this phone. Hehe.. :D I have posted an opinion there at the 5320 XM opinions page and i saw your post and i really agree with it.

Some says, e.g. Carloud
they can store up to 4,000 sms, but lets compute,
1 part sms is .5 kb
2 parts sms is 1 kb
3 parts sms is 2 kb
so it depends on the usage, you cant save message to memory cards so MMC are out of the computation,, this phone supports 6 MB internal memory, but you will not use all of it for messages only,
so i guess 1000 one part sms will consume 500KB
and 1000 two-part sms will consume 1000 KB or 1MB
and 1000 three-part sms will consume 2000 KB or 1MB

also you can't install sis applications as well as it is not smart phone som you cant read docs on it. also its graphic processing ability is not good. also since it has low ram therefore you cant play heavy graphic games on it .
signal reception and its quality is good.
sound is much better even than hyped sony
the menu are simple and much easy to use
so i would say GO FOR IT!

i require a Phone with:
Nokia phone
No sliding/flap
No joystick
Not require 2 Cameras(like in N70/N73)
Camera >2Mp
Normal Battery life......
Would want 2 use it for GPRS/Music phone!!
Can't take:
6300 as it's battery drains out too soon(An Exprience from my frnd)!!
N73 has a joystick & 2 Cameras!!
N70 has a 2 cameras,Slow & hangs alot!!
N72 some ppls say it's camera pics r of low Quality!!
Wht version of Symbian OS/Java does 6233 support(For games & appz)??
