EDGE is only a software upgrade on GPRS network.
Im in this forum because Im also going to purchase this phone (convinced by reading this fourm).

Yup, that's the price for a brand new N6233. I bought mine there a year ago which costed me 12K...When I checked yesterday, it's down to 8- 8.5K....

I know that USB v1.1 is slower than the latest v2.2,, thats why im asking if this fone supports 2.2,, sigh,, means slower data transfer rate,,

Nope, this fone does not support USB v2.0...It's a small USB plug...Difference? It's smaller than the usual USB plug..Hehehe
Well, kidding aside, there's not much of a difference having a USB v2.0...It's just smaller and handy. But I'm not sure about file transfer speed if it has a notch up.
16Million colored fones have crisper images than a 256K colored fone like 6233.
GO to Greenhills bro..Their selling 6233 at around Php8K - Php8.5K Go for the black one!

is this fone support USB v2.0??, k550 supports it, what is the difference??
f some fones have 16Million color display, is it too far more diff than 6233??/ how was it differ from a 16m display fones?? 6233 has only 253,000 colors,
have you tried using a 4GB memory card in N6233??
do anyone knows about the class thing in GPRS and EDGE??? when they called it class 10 GPRS, something like that???

i hv also encountered that kind of prob b4.wat i did was ,i just took d memory card out of the card slot and then i returned it back after 5mins.after that my phone memory got back to normal..

Your keypad's contact points are dirty.
Go to your nearest Nokia Care Center. Tell them you want to have your fone cleaned because your keypad is not responding properly.

By the way, you said that you're receiving 50 messages a day. How many messages are saved to your fone? Try deleting some messages.

If you were using your 6233 to browse the web, try going to WEB then "clear cache." I've been clearing it after I browse to free some space on the fone memory.
Restart the fone afterwards.

hi am a 6233 user since march 2007 everything was alright til my fone bugged keypad doesnt work and it takes fotos by itself and sometimes keys number 1 2 and 3 work alone wat shoud i do?

sir Lalit If Im not mistaken 6233 supports flash lite 1.1
hehehe it supports animated flash as wallpaper in themes as well^_^
I have in my phone a clip of ff7advent tifa's battle scene as wallpaper and it works nicely...
oddly enough, when my phone is at version3.75 the flash seems to animate quite fast
but now in 5.43 the flash animation seems to have slowed down a bit...

@sameer, I mean edit ringtone in computer through Sony sound forge , boost its volume and then use in phone,it sounds loud.
There r some java video player software for mobile in mobile9.com ,use it in your 6233, may be it can fast forward video,there r also some more software like pdf reader,ms office doccument file reader, try it

meliani , same problem was occured in my 6233,cheak Is your memory card shows same free memory when read in computer? becaues 6233 shares phone memory with card memory,though memory card is full it shows some extra memory and though no phone memory is used it shows only very few in kb memory, Cheak is ur phone free memory and used memory total is 6mb? If not then its a problem ,go to Nokia service center.
tell them do quickly because for my 6233 they took one month.....!

this fone is pastime.. im playing mp3, movies, video and camera... all that function is realy great...
buy it now and wont get pisd of it ^_^
