anyway im here now in the LEGENDARY 6233 Forum !!!!!

@kunal, chal yaar its o.k, man 6233 can also forward or backward the video by doing 10 second timescale, i dont know how to do it, but it can, i am also a die hard fan of SONYERICSSON, but after using all these mobiles, i can say SONY can wipeout NOKIA in multimedia mobiles by applying some common sense like i am listing below 1= got to have durable mobiles, yeah i know they beat NOKIA flat in designing and user-freindly nature of their operating system. 2=have to get rid of cheap joystic in all K series models, seriously they are crappy. 3= have to seriously,i mean seriously make something about video recording. even K790 and W580 which are highend products have QCIF recording,they havent made any change to it since launching K700 3.5 years ago, NOKIA has done tremendously, there is no mobile of sony which can capture 30fps in VGA mode. only 2 or 3 which capture 15fps in VGA mode like 6233. 4= they got no phone which have 16 MILLION colour dispay,not even W960 and P1,even NOKIA 6300 have. to all SE lovers lets face the truth that SE havent made any progress further since launching K750 and W800, whereas NOKIA has grown at great pace.

it all depends on the User of the Phone
i prefer 6233 becuase it has a D-Pad and Bar shape
even though i like the 5700 becuase it has Music Software and 2.5mm Jack built in and better retail Package
5700 is a Nice phone il respect that
but 6233 isnt as bad either its abit better is some areas

@sameer,I agree 5700 joystic is not so good,but it is not bad like k750, it has very powerful symbian os 9.2,it is also true that it is useless,when user does not reqired it,for them 6233 is good option,but my experience with 6233 was very bad, it had many problems like hang while video recording,also it has no auto focus,can not take close photos ,no flash , can not forward video etc, and k550 can do that,thats why I like k550
Many people complain but many times they misunderstand like someone said k550 can not forward video, but actually it can when video played in video player,but it can not if played in file mannager,finally they conclude k550 is bad..........

@Sameer,I agree, 5700 joystic not so great.but its symbian os 9.2 which is great, it is also true that it is useless ,who do not use symbian ,For him 6233 is good option,but my experience with 6233 was very bad,many problems like hang at maximum vga recording,also no auto focus and flash ,so 6233 can not take close photos like document photo , k550 is best in that and my k550 never hangs thats why I said,
but if u dont want auto focus ,flash etc and reqired the very loud speaker(louder than w550,n73)then 6233 is best.........
many people complains about phone,but many times they have less knowledge, like someone said k550 can not fast forward video ,but actually it does,u have to play video through video player,in file mannager it does not ,finally they say phone is bad......

you are 100% right, 6233 is the Best durable phone, iv had my 6233 since August 2006 and it still works like new
iv played around with a 5700 and i didnt like it the Joystick and Rotater brakes easily ! you are right.....
and my SE W850i is the same ,D-Pad is cracked,slider is loose it still works though, im still using along with my 6233
6233 is better then 5700
6233 = BEST NOnonsense Mobile!

can i use 5310 softwares and themes in my 6233. both are series 40 mobiles, but 6233 is of 3rd edition and 5310 is of 5 edition. 5310 has got lot of themes and softwaresc as copmpared to 6233, so it will be great for 6233 if 5310 themes and softwares are applicable on 6233 as both of them has same screen size and display, only difference is 5310 got 16 million dispay whereas 6233 got 262k dispay. and tell me one thing more where does those themes and software will store, will it store in internal memory or in memory card directely. where are CARLOUD and FUZION.

@agsags and all other 6233 users just go to www.my6233.lasyk.net, here you will find all softwares,ringtones,wallpaper,themes,games. all free of cost much better and more user friendly than www.getjer.com

@kunal, yo man what we mean to say was WINDOWS and SMARTPHONES are not meant for common day use, who uses all the functions, my friend got IMATE JASJAR, but lol that phone is bigger than a brick, my 6233 thrash it in multimedia functions, he never use or i should say cant use wifi,3g, and lots more functions of it,he just bought that ugly phone to just showoff. you should read mine posts carefully,what i said about 5700 is that its the best symbian mobile due to its performance,pricing and packaging. i had the budget of 13k so i was going to purchase 5700 but lol' when one my friend handed me his 5700 for a while i just knew that its joystic will be off no use after sometimes as just like sony K series, and its body sucks tooooooooo plastic and last doesnt like the rotating camera like 3250. then i go for 6233 and very happy with it. better speakers than 5700, better video than 5700, and camera is same. so if speaker and video of 6233 is superior and camera is same then a person will be a dumb to go for a 5700. 6233 is the best durable mobile and 5700 is a crappy phone.
