so i am saying that buy that what you need if you are buisnessment get a smartphone or else go for a nonensence phone which SE makes. what the meaning of buying a htc phone if you are not using its entertainment sector only.

camera=average, sound=great on speakers,average on headphone, keypad=very good, userinterference= overall good but bad in multimedia section,battery=good, desingn =good, retail pacage = worst you can ever get, durability = cant say new to own one, reliability = cant say say new to own one. overall rating= i just love this set

dani,lestor.i want to tell you guys a real funny story. on august 2005 one of my friend got 6630 at 21k.he was so eagarly telling me that it got edge,3g,html browsing,rotating gallery etc. after one week another friend of mine buys engage classic at a flat 6k. and guss what engage classics kicks out 6630 in the entertainment sector.it has been 2.5 years since 3g is not launced in india for poor guy to use 3g funtion in his 6630.

dani,lester yeah, 6233 is a great nonensence phone because it got all the basic functions a normal guy wants. it got great music and great video recording, i am agree with dani that camera and music player interaferance of w810 is far superior to 6233. but on overall 6233 kicks out w810.

so far this is the second best phone i have ever had had since August 2006 a couple of firmware issues but after i upgraded it it was perfect. iv got a 1gb microSD works fine. battery life is average.software is fast and speedy.camera average.keypad brilliant ! .great display, has 3G! , music player is average. nicely designed with stainless steel(bling bling!),VGA video(love it) and the Stereo Speakers Loud as !!!!!!!! - overall its a good phone has Multimedia functions but its ok as a Multimedia phone but still not at the level of SE Walkman or Cyber-shot phones...still does the job! abit to Businessy for a guy like me..lol .anyway i love my 6233 il keep this phone running for a long time yet!

i agree with sameer, 6233 is one of the best Nokias ever made in line with N95,N73,N70,6230,6230i !
i cant find no drawbacks in the 6233 ! theres really nothing wrong with it, i saw my friends W810i yesterday and if its compared with 6233 6233 wins! W810i has the better camera and Music Player but thats all i can think off! 6233 wins overall
before i got 6233 i was going to get W810i but then i thought i would wait for a New Walkman Phone and then i got 6233 and DONT regret buying 6233, and then bought W850i after 5 months! before 6233 i had 6230 and 6230i ..so i kept my Nokia Heritage going! 6233 is the best .............

dani, lester, i was reading yours comment that how priviledge we all are that we have the best nononsense mobile that nokia had made so far, i must admit this is the great phone i just feel that engage classic had little bit more, that was the first phone which had real double stereo sound effect unlikely that of qd which had mono, that was the truely a masterpiece set, i still regret of not buying that mobile.

Haven't tried upgrading my firmware. Mine is v5.10
v5.43 hasn't fixed this bug yet. The new one"v5.60?" I'm not sure if its fixed.

java phones are hard to infect with virus..
symbian fons are prone to them!!...

you can download a "KD player" for this fon, coz this fon's own player doesn't support it...

Uhmm...the only bug I encountered with this fone is when the keypad is locked, try pressing the camera button. There will be a message saying "Press 'Unlock' then 'OK'" Problem is, there is no 'OK' button. It should be "Press 'Unlock' then *.
Last is you can't create song playlist.
Well, that's pretty much it for CONS (for me.) It didn't bother me though. But overall, it's a great phone.
Unlike other Nokia phone forums, you'll see tons of complaints :)

Please anybody help me!i have nokia 6233,i am receiving internattional text messeges from russian in russian language,but now i recived them convertet to english in english and sometimes i cannot received them at all
