wat is the difference between 6233 and 6233 music edition? wat advantages 6233M has over 6233. pls clarify

nokia 6233 not full 3G fon,but it can play online tv with 3G coverage...before this i use nokia n70,but n70 so heavy to open app when you use 2gb of memory card.....but 6233 2gb memory card!!!

hey sania..are u happy with the pictures taken by ur beloved nokia 6233?? do u too see the grains in the picture takn in low light condition?? if yes then can it be improved with an updated firmware?

hey..Carloud and Dani..both of u r really good and ur suggesstions are very very exhaustive..very much suggestive for new members..so it doesnt suit u to fight over ur superiority and its more disheartening to see both of u losing the harmony..this is definitely not good..so hope u guys understand it and keep on doing the good job without comparing ur works..

this is the best fone ever!!! it has been fallen badly 100times but it didnt break as yet!! and it has a wonderful music quality!! best fone eva.. good job nokia

I had this phone for almost a year, and comparing the sound to other phones well this has the best sound, it's very loud and clear, the sound is better than any sony ericsson walkman series, so if you want durabilty and clarity check this phone.

i've seen many people comparing the sound of 6233 to N 73.well for their information let me tell that the stereo speakers of n73 are mounted on top while in 6233 its placed in the sides making the acoustic effect more real.those who are still doubtfull can check out these words on mobile-review.com. it says'So it turns out that the volume in n73 is quite high owing to sound spreading through two speakers and on top of that it sound penetrating, unless you face it off against Nokia 6233 of course. And once you listen to a tune on Nokia 6233 and then on Nokia N73, the outcome of this competition will be pre-defined. Thus the conclusion is obvious: this very model cannot boast stereo sound due to certain hardware limitations'

Another review on 6290 says, 'In the 6290 the speakers are placed on the sides, though, which makes more sense allowing you to listed to tunes and music in a more familiar fashion. Maybe, these speakers are not as loud as those on Nokia N73, but they output penetrating and soft sound – the 6290 can be actually used as a juke box, no jokes here. The volume is on a par with Nokia 6233, even though occasionally tunes sound slightly different, but at the end of the day, among these three handsets, Nokia 6290 is a runner-up following close behind Nokia 6233 and being much better than the N73.

sigh...it seems the new firmware (5.60)still has no seeking in the video player...
looks like sir migs is right...it is a possibility that seeking in 6233 is not possible...
why did nokia not implement a better video player is beyond me, specially since the 62xx series is supposed to represent nokia in the mid range class, as the n series in high class range and the fact that it is supposed to be a "basic function" in all media players which is already present in most players released today...
tsk...tsk..6280,6288,6233, 6131, and those 31xx series and even the new smartphone the e51 all cant rewind nor fast forward videos...
does anyone know a video player application in which we can rew or ff videos for series 40?

dear sumeet about the names of pictures and videos...sadly and frustratingly at that, it (series 40 in general)doesnt name the files by the time nor by the date that it was taken (unlike n series or series 60 smartphones)

dear sir umar most of the comparisons between the w810 and 6233 have been mentioned in the second page pls look it up there ^_^
as for 6300...
6233's advantage over 6300 are stereo speakers and vga video camera and 3g and flash messaging
6300's advantage over the 6233 are
can rewind and FF videos, slim design and is lighter, and supports the latest flash type( for wallpapers) and has 16m color screen
with imo a better texting background (ala n series when you are texting)
it's been quite known that sony ericsson W series excel in the audio quality of their headsets
so in the headset quality w810>6233=6300

Dear nokia 6233 users! can anyone plz tell me can the snaps taken with it show the date and time as in the case of digicams or other SE handsets ???if it can then great as we can remember the pic with its time and date on that..thnx
