This is a very good cell phone indeed. One draw back is this that, you have to open it when you want to change its casing.

ill keep my nokia 6233c as a collector's item and will use it as a back-up phone and as my "ipod/walkman" for listening to my favorite songs!!!!!!!

This is still one of the best phone ever made. Even after 5 years!!! incredible piece of technology (I'm still waiting for the successor!)
PROS: uber costruction quality, ultra high stereo, VGA videos, fast system with no virus, 3G...all things that maybe you can do now...but that I've done for the last 5 years! I bought a new battery and I charge it every 15 days!!!
CONS: it's a bit heavy considering nowadays phones, and quite bulk (not slim!). It can't play huge videos (but optimized one go perfect).
If you have an ipod touch (like me) you will be very happy to carry these two and not an iphone...which has embarrassing battery life, it's still too heavy, uses tiny sims only and doesnt have some really useful functions even 30$ phone have (bluetooth file transfer, full sms and file manager, giving a tone with music from memory...)
I think some people will approve my reasoning...

I know that Nokia would stop updating the ''FIRMWARE'' of the mobiles that are discontinued. So is the case with Nokia 6233 also. But may I know it's last updated VERSION please... I love my 6233, N70 and N73...

Latest update with the opera mini experience:
opera mini 6.1 was too heavy on this old OS, But with v4.3 i can't download anything, so i search for another alternative version best. Use the old v3.2 should be the best alternative for stability, but for download freak i recommend v5.0 downloaded from www.vatikag.com. [sorry for this link] with reasonably success and despite several hangs and restarts i have manage to download about 80 songs. Hope tip tips would help all who still enjoy 6233...

Rmn, 25 Jul 2011Guys if u want the 6233 performance, camera quality, video,... morewell i dont agree w u pal. comparing the sound quality of 6233 to c5-00 is way way very far. i rate 6233's sound quality to 10 while c5-00 is only at 6. compare it actually and ull hear d difference!

sahu, 09 Aug 2011hey, can some one please tell him that how can i change my ... moreU will need T6 screw driver.Remove battery cover and the 2 screws below then remove the front panel and then back camera and top cover thats it replace with the new panel and rescrew the same.
If you have no idea in handling then better take to mobile caretaker.
