I got this phone six months back....and was a very impulsive buy...but I have got to say that this phone has everything a person needs...the best part is the 3g....the speakers are excellent...also the battery has a good stand by time....the only thing is the low phone memory but you can easily put a 2 gb memory card in it and forget about deleting anything from it.
A MUST BUY FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE THINKING TO BUY A NEW PHONE

To more advanced users:
Can you tell me whether Opera Mini 4 (working on 6233) breaks the connection or keeps it open until you close Opera?
I know that there is a Russian MOD that for sure keeps the connection open but as far as I know it's been made based on version 2 so it's a bit old...

Not all phones.. only with 6233. and i don't know everything.. => i just learn from other people as well.

For those who are asking which phones to buy.. first tell us what feature or function you want.. this is a nokia 6233 forum.. and for sure we will say that you get a nokia 6233.
but if you tell us the exact features or stuff you want in a phone.. then we might be able to help you out.. like if you're a camera/picture lover.., then i suggest get a phone with 3++ megapixels. sumtin like that.. right guys?

yes 6233 has a low phone memory. 6mb. but you can buy upto 2 gig micro sd external memory which i doubt you can fill.. i can't use up my 1gig => i only bought this for P1,000++ (more or less $25)

Its normal..
its due to the different audio levels in each mp3 file or other file formats. not all mp3s have the same loudness. even the quality of the sound differs - due to bit rate.
That's why when i upload the songs to my phone, i convert it first to aac+ then i standardize the bit rate (80 kbits/sec 44100Hz stereo) and i normalize the audio level (99%).. so each song would have the same loudness..

First of all don't expect really deep bass from such small speakers...
Second - why don't you go to some kind of well equipped shop and compare yourself?
I can only say that 6233 plays very good and I did not waste my money.

hey fren m asking a solution from you but you guys are making me more confusing regarding this topic (which phone have got deep bass) one says go for nokia another says SE as per you guys opinion see below now with which i can go for?....
YOUR's OPINION GUYS:
NONAME- You can go for NOKIA 6233 OR 5700. As per your requirement I found 6233 and 5700 are the best fone 4 u. The deep bass u want only can be obtained from 6233 and 5700 not from SE700 and N70
DIPU- You can go for SE W700i. As per your requirement I found 700i is the best fone 4 u. The deep bass u want only can be obtained from 700i not from N70/N72

HI MIGS
i just got this mobile , and i got few ringtones and songs through bluetooth. The problem is that few songs play very loud and with great bass while others play with low volume and loudness with same volum and equalizer set on the phone.why there is diffrence of loudness . is this related to the quality and settings of the other's phone because i got all songs by bluetooth
and is ther any way to get these "low loudness" songs in loud like other songs
