I am using 6233 for over a month now.. its quite fine... the sound quality as well as the picture quality is good... it lacks flash.. but does well in good light conditions... battery is not so good as i have to charge it every 36 hrs... im happy with the phone its simple and i guess im safe from virus attacks caused in S60 phones... i was using N6510 untill i found this one... GOOD n SIMPLE phone...

i bought 1 gig memory card for this phone at cd-r king..
it cost 750 pesos ONLY... or more or less $15.. how cheap...

Dear guyz i have S40 (Nokia 6233), i need smart movie like application to play .avi files.
As you know smart movie is very cool software and we can easily forwared, rewind, vol up and volum down, so i need an application that work like smart movie and play .avi files.
I hope you will help me to find smart movie type software.
Also tell me how can we do volum up, down and forwared, rewind music in nokia 6233 default player for audio and vidoe files ?

786. its not called lens size. or whatever, its called FOCAL LENGTH. the shorter the focal length, the stronger or faster it can focus or diverge light. u could just search more in the internet. i think 6233 has 5.0mm focal length.

yeah i get the problem now ..i havent upgraded my firmware yet..its still V3.70 im going to upgrade it AS soon as possible...!!!

Niket: Okay then..buy yourself a N73 and stay MINUTES to send a SMS. 6233 is way faster than any simbyan phone. And what aplication you can instal on symbian that is so important and can't live without it?

786: I recieved even a 20 MB file using Bluetooth. Any file with any size is saved on memory card. Be sure you have the latest firmware 4.91; maybe you have a software problem.

i have the problem of recieving stuff via bluetooth to i cant recieve files bigger then 6MB i tried to send a 8.9MB file from my other fone it said "send failed" so basically i hate this phone for that reason loww built in memory it recives files less then 6mb and saves it direct to the memory card....but files bigger then 6mb cant be Recieved WHICH IT BAD!!!!!!

No problem in back cover of mobile, if u have a white and silver combination phone and it look better than back one.
camera is ok fine.............

hi everone, i recently bougth 6233 music edition phone. all over phone is nice but tbere is few problem. pls carefull before buy this phone. i have a white colour so problem in back cover of phone and white silver combin is look better than back.
I got 512 memory card so mem is engh. but bluetooth is not too good it always secarhing the device again and again . and for office users ....... the data cable is att in speakers is not directly attached to mobile. so u always carry speakers with u .
all over sound is good and looks better than se w810.............

series 40 is java apllication and it supports no softwares.i m very much dissapointed becoz it does not support any softwares . i think u must take series 60 phone which supports all softwares.this phone really sucks in softwares.

i myself had the same problem; but yesterday i recieved a file of 5.2 mb size directly in memory card.Atleast 15 Mb should be free in the memory card, then only u can recieve 5mb size of file.

i have the same problem, the back cover turned to red/pink after 2-3 weeks.Too bad the housing isn't available yet in the market

whats the size of the camera LENSE in MM (milimeters) like for e.g 6280 lense is 4.9MM which means the picture is clear whats the LENSE size of 6233..??????

Hi!
I have a 6233 a few days ago, and I experienced that at poor light conditions, there are a few pixels which tend to be red in every picture taken by the camera. I would like to state that these are not part of the natural noise that appears in poor light condition, however the phenomenon is similar to noise. Has anyone experienced similar things? I would appriciate if someone could send me or link pictures which are taken in nightfall/dawn/night/dark_room to compare them with my ones. Thanks in advance.

i recommend dont buy this fone..nokia fones are over priced and there packages are full of crap,only 64 MB...this is nothing..all the memory is taken by video recorings which i did for only 10 min....alternatives are superb and i bet tht the other fones in the similar catagory are very awesome.....NO FLASH POOR CAMERA AT THIS PRICE...... if this fone is around 12000 PKR,then there might be a chance tht i buy this fone AGAIN..until then bye bye nokia..adding 60$ more i can buy a cyber shot..hahahaah

same problem with my 6233 its turning pink on the back covers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! y is 6233 turning into 7373 that other nokia...lool!!!! my phone colour is silver/gray and is now turning pink on the back!!!!!!!!

Hi to all can u tell me what is the difference between symbian and series 40 phones? And which one is better? Also tell me the function of wi-fi. Is it depend on ur network or is useful on every network? I am from India. Can it work here?

Hello guys,
I have bought my 6233 for about 2 months, it is a wonderful phone BUT I found that two ends of the back cover of the phone has been changing to pink!!! I dont know why is that for, because I haven't used it for long! and now I have bought crystal case for it to prevent it to be worse. my phone colour is silver stylish ( Not black anyway) . did anyone experienced such a problem?
