That's not what I meant about the menu. U cannot create main folders or subfolders on the main menu view. but good enough for me.

Hello Guys, am Austine and I guess all you own the 6233 phone. Please
can anyone of you tell me if it is possible to download an MP4 file that consumes
20MB to 35MB through it's Bluetooth or it's Infrared, 'cos I want to get this
phone but the 6MB internal Memory worries me unlike my 6230i which has 32MB.
I will be very greatful if any of you guys can help me with your answer. My e-mail

I am new to this site and appreciate ur contribution. I am a bit confused, comin' to buy a new phone. I was thinking to buy Nokia 6233 or N70. I live in India.
Differences:
6233 doesn't support applications; No USB'
total memory 6+64 mb; price is Rs.13000/-.
While N70 - No FM radio; No Infrared; total memory 20+64 mb; price is Rs.16500/-.
I like 6233, but prob is No applications... & I wanted such a phone, but with office applications.
If u can guide me in this regard, plz do so asap....plz confirm the differences I mentioned r true? and Is there any such Nokia phone with all the features of 6233+applications too.....

hey! i own the same black unit but upgraded mine from 3.7 to 4.52 . . .actually menu is customizable, just click menu then click left button options - Main Menu view or Organise

Can anyone who has this phone tell me, to take photos do you always have to have the phone sideways, or is there an option where you can take photos normally (so width is more than height) like the old camera phones.

I am a proud owner of a black Nokia 6233. Excellent features. The keys are outstanding as well as the color display. Pics are clear and videos taken are equally clear. Surround speakers allow superb music/sound playbacks.
CAVEATS: poor battery life (as expected with high-resolution phones); uncustomizable "menu folder" organization/arrangement; not so many softwares available--(because of its non symbian OS)

to everyone....i got all that, kno how to check my firmware and all...but i want to update it using my computer...can some1 help me in doing that...or i'd have to get it flashed with the latest firmware

i just want to know if this celphone 6233 can use in video calling? i tried it but the problem is the call recipient can't receive any images from my celphone but i can see him..i know that the camera is only at the back but in the manual it clearly states there that the video call is active when you can see two images ang hear the sound through the loudspeaker.do u know guys whats the prob?

download the software by selecting E60 or N70 and following the instruction and install it on ur computer, and then follow the instructions to update ur Mobile OS Nokia 6233 Firmware, software is same for all the displayed mobile names there, so it will be working for 6233, as it is new in the market that is why they have not updated the flash file there. but it works fine to update the firmware of Nokia 6233 Online, On internet.

I saw that quote further down..but i tried it and it said the phone model is not supported..anybody kno whats the deal with that...or kno any other way to bypass that?
