I have this phone in my store. What can I say: It is bigger than 6230i (it's big compared with many phones); camera..9 points; video recorder..10+ points! The phone is really fast when navigate in menu. The bluetooth menu and its services has been improved. The screen is OK, but Samsung has better display. The sound is really loud in speakrs and very clear! But the sound (mp3) in the headset in too low.
On the other hand..i recomand this phone to everyone..is super!

Hi Raj, I'm one of those M1 customer, I bought direct fm them as I can upgrade my line(less than 12 mths)& also need not to configure all those 3G/GPRS settings + free Sim Card upgrade. Another advantage, Nokia original pakaging(Label fm Nokia for M1), just beware that "some" shops selling low price are "export" set. Thay still issue warranty card fm Nokia.

hey `*samsung1*` where are u getting this phone from?? i have been looking at ebay... might have to get it imported from singapore??? Don't want to wait till it hits retailers...
As for samsung phones.. i have had the e730 for over about 8 months.. i must it is a horrible phone.... Sorry but thats just how i feel!lol!

Most of the phones with flash doesn't work like a digital camera flash. So far I tried the SEPARATE ATTACHMENT FLASH on SE K750i, it really flash like the digital camera flash. By the way, I have phones which one is Nokia 6233 and the other SE K750i (spare phone on my 2nd line) but waiting for the N73 to replace my current 6233 when N73 out.
Perhaps in the future, phone makers may install digital camera flash on mobile phone.
I think there should be some restriction or limitations on mobilephone because if a mobilephone work like or as good as a high end digital camera then who will buy digital camera?

Mustafa store in serangoon is the authorized dealer of Nokia (checked with Nokia) and in fact they are much secure and bigger than many small phone dealers in Singapore. They will break the security seal of the box infront of you and everything is brand new untouched and their stocks are supplied by local distributors Telechoice International (phone usually inside got the telechoice sticker. In fact most of the phone shops outside have opened all the boxes before you buy and claimed that they need to check the items inside the box but to me it defeated the purpose of the security seal by the manufacturer on the box.
I used to buy new phones without contract from Mustafa at midnite (24hrs) as they sell both local and export sets (local set price slightly higher but the choice is yours). Some people paid less for an export set and later claimed no local warranty which is not true (100% wty when you buy local set). What you do is that keep the original receipt which stated with wty.
But before you buy any phones from Mustafa, you do some research on the mkt price so that you get what you want. For me, I rather buy from Mustafa than some shop dealers outside as I have some unpleasant experiences on the my previous purchase.
Coming back, I think the original accessories for Nokia phones you can get it much cheaper at Mustafa where Nokia shops sell very expensive, for examples battery you can get much cheaper (also original).
So don't worry to buy from Mustafa, even you go to any shops there is always a risk but jsut make sure you check all the imei nos. original receipt, wty card stamped (of course the receipt and the shop stamp must tally with the same company receipt you bought).

if you want 3G phone for Video Call. Don't get this phone. Why? It only got one camera at behind. so how you does your friend see your face in a video call? you have to flip the phone back.

The disadvantage of this phone is it does not comes with built-in flash.

To all of those ppl who want to convert to samsung, don't do it!! i have samsung e730. worst phone ever!!!! samsung are horrible phones!

The perfect phone..to bad that is Nokia..to many problems with the software..and 6233 surely will have problems just like 6230i had when hit the market..I will have this phone in the store (I am a gsm dealer) and I will have a close loke.. I wanted this phone so bad..but i changed my mind and took Samsung D600 because Samsung just make perfect phones..with perfect software and no isues at all! There are just to many fulty nokia on market..I have a N91 in store..and it has problems with software..the same with No E60.. To bad for u Nokia..
