I tried to memory card with FAT36 but it is not allowing me with FORMAT command. Is there any other command to do that? Let me know if you have solution to format it with FAT36 format.

In the current situation can i buy this phone,
is it still available in market?
This phone's age(release date) is already 3.5 years.
Is there any other good mobile than this.
When it was released it was a good fone, but since its an old fone should i consider buying this or are there better fones in market in this range.
I have heard the sound quality is superb, i want a equivalent sound quality fone.
Can i buy this please tell.

I just can't believe it. I borrowed a 4GB card from a friend, you know, I got curious if it works. It does work perfectly in my 6233! I'm gona buy a 4GB later this day. Cool! Can't beleive this fone. It makes wonders even 3 yrs old.

I have placed my 4gb card in 6233 but ... moreIs it a Sandisk 4GB Card? Because only Sandisk ones work perfectly with Nokia's they work flawlessly - Other brands like Kingston's dont work properly.
You should format the memory card using 'FAT36' then it should work.

I have placed my 4gb card in 6233 but give me error that memory card is not formatted. I cant use it. I got it formatted thru PC as it doesnt give me option in phone. But still its notes working. Do I need to change few things befor using it. Let me know, If you have some suggestions.

my service provider is "idea"

Gaurav, 19 Jan 2009hi friends i have nokia old 6233 but now i m facing one pr... moreWell, the phonebook is limited to 500 only, you cannot transfer contacts to Memory card, but you can still use the SIM memory for contacts, so additional P.Buk memory is on the SIM and depends on the memory of your SIM.
