as 6233's slogan is 'Busines First, Then Pleasure'
that means its more concentrated on Telephony then Multimedia
although 6233 is only 6xxx series phone to have VGA Video, Stereo Speakers, 3G in this price
so its a One Off, Nokia were generous with 6233 as compared to the 6230, 6230i in terms of Multimedia features

that will affect the selling of xpress music fones wich r more expensive! do u agree with me?

so basically 6233 was stuck in the middle of a Nokia Software Upgrade
considering 6233's Price, Nokia had a Limited Budget to make the Phone so it would fit that price..

i purchased it last month, and a can say that this is the best phone ever!!!!!3g capable w/ 2mp on its cam. im recommending this phone to all quality conscious pips outder!!!

6233 is agreat fone among its range.fast & support mp4 movies & records 640 by 480 video &very loud.unfortinately it well be far better if nokia did the following:
1.using the lense of n70 for the camera which is far better than the current which is useless indoors or during night ... that was hard to do nokia?!
2.using a professional build in music player for mega bass & trebble through headset im sure that was not hard to do nokia!

why should you love your 6233 more than a expensive symbian phone?
you can send and receive your favourite themes via bluetooth.symbian phones cant do that
the things you took via bluetooth, goes straight to your memory card. in symbian phones you have to go to the msgs and save them again.
symbian phones take lots of time to start when you full your memory card[1GB,2GB]. no matter its 64MB or 4GB your 6233 will start in same time.

Help me plz , 14 Aug 2008i made a password to my memory card, but unluckily i forgot... moreThere are only two things you can do:
1. Reformat the memory card
2. Bring it to the service center and ask them if they have an application called "code reader." This will read your memory card's password. Problem is, that code reader is hard to find. Better reformat the card instead.

n73 may trump 6233 in night mode but on poor lighting if you test both units youll find n73's video recording to be not only noisy but full of bluish tint
unlike 62333 which doesnt have these...
6233 is also faster than n73 in user interface
bigger(w/ better response) buttons
better speakers
lightning fast camera U.I. (I believe it is the fastest among series 40 3rd generation handsets)
and one of the main advantages of 6233 compared to symbian as a whole is that it sending files thru bluetooth is just like "copy" and pasting" it from a p.c. no need to install programs unlike smartphones
very very user friendly...
in my honest opinion, though I am not saying that you should replace your n73 with 6233, but there are stuffs that 6233 is really better and is even friendlier to use than that of the smartphone n73 ^_^

Yeah indeed 6233 is a great phone.but i face this problem when i update the firmware to v5.6. I found the problem below:
1. voice command is not working.
2. simplified chinese pinyin is gone, now only can stroke
Can anybody advice on how to overcome this problem. Thank

phoneman, 11 Aug 2008hi guys,am confused on what to buy? a 6233 or a E51? am usi... moren73 is far better than 6233 because 1.n73 camera is much better in resolution(3.2) and the lense is carzius for professinal performance with autofocus and flash and work perfectly in night mode while 6233 camera is 2mp work averagly in daylight and useless in night &indoors& has no flash or autofocus.
2.n73 is symbian fone cane run symbian app. in addition to java app. while 6233 only can run jave app.
3.n73 can support many formats by installing symbian player for dis formats wile 6233 cant cause its jave fone.
now about e51 it depends on ur needs cuz its a communicator fone for business men.
my advise is keep ur n73!

Hi there im to much confused and dont get it which cell should i buy after my 6233 and im not selling my legend 6233 i want upgrade of this model and i cant find classic candy bar java s40 in 3.2 mp coz all the phones nokia released in 2mp classic i have only 1 fone remain in my mind and thats 6500 slide i took snap and amazing 3.2 mp carl ziess optics amazing stylish sexy looking what do u thing guyz n girlz should i purchase this fone or 6300 black 3120 classic 6500 classic 5310 and 5610 both are fragile fones what do u think
