geez the video is a pain to use. CAn anyone help i have a mpeg4 and a 3gp video file but when i put it in the phone it doesnt work for some reason. can anyone help? thanks.

There are volume buttons on the right side of the phone, right beside the display. You can also switch the incoming call to stereo speakers.

Forgot to say answer to what:
Is there a way to increase the volume of the phone? i mean call, not thru loudspeaker. When someone calls me the voice is very very low and i allways tell the other person to shout...please help. It's not unbearable but a little louder wouldnt hurt

I like this phone to.. it's complete (except the back camera), but I use 3G mostly for the download and not for video call.. because 3G is not only video call..

i can't understand this movile phone 'cause it's sopused to have 3g that is video call but it have only one camera and it's in the back of the phone. if somebody knows how to do a video call with this movile phone please say it to me

Hi,i`m Dylan from South africa this is my 5th Nokia and never have i been so dissapointed in Nokia!!!!!! During the first week of having my phone,it started switching off&on by itself and it`s been to nokia here in S.A. 3times for repairs already,but they say there`s nothing wrong with the phone,now this totally unacceptable since i`m such a nokia fan&want nothing else but a nokia phone.
Even when i`m on the wap the flippen thing disconnects by itself&on again,its so frustrating since i`ve had such a bad nokia experience.

alex, i`m from romania too, and i have a 6234... yeah when someone call`s me ringing starts low and then go normal but this happened with my 6230i, too. And if u wanna set the loudspeaker to a higher volume... set the eqalizer at max and then u go.. For everyone i reccomend this phone cuz is cheap and very good, good stereo loudspeakers, good video camera and video call... enjoy

Hi, Im from South Africa. This is my third Nokia phone, and it just doesn't cease to amaze me!!
Well done Nokia for coming out with such a versatile, user-friendly phone for the above average cellphone user! And it is well priced, i must add. I feel Nokia still sets the benchmark for which it is best known!
To anyone having problems with this phone, i recommend you update your product software by going directly to the Nokia website. This should do away with anything you might be grappling with. :)

Dont let your nework fooling you into believeing it is not on thier side. I say this because I have a Motorola celphone which would not accept a internet connection at all but when I took he sim card out of my ther cell and put it in the cell connected no problem. My network kept on insisting it was not on their side. One day I phoned in and laid a complaint. The problem sat with the Engineering department for over a week. The sim connects now with out a problem. I suggest that you do the same thing.

Just want to know this hand phone can use pinyin... ? it is can read chinese but can't write chinese... any other way to do it.. ?

A great phone, and nice sound quality. But i also get the 'packet data authentication failed' every now and then, and sometimes, my internet doesnt work at all for a few hours . I thought it was my network, but it seems its not. Any1 that can help?
