Does it not have a volume up/down button on the side of the phone, while you are busy speaking to someone on a call, push the volume up button. if you push the volume button when not in a call, it volumes the speaker and music sounds. (i hope i'm right, i have this phone's earlier version the 6230i)

can anyone tell me what would happen if i put a 'Three' simcard in this phone? I was told that with non-3 phones it will work but you wont get all the features, like Planet3. What will i miss out on if i use this as a 3 phone? Thank you in advance!

Is there a way to increase the volume of the phone? i mean call, not thru loudspeaker. When someone calls me the voice is very very low and i allways tell the other person to shout...please help. It's not unbearable but a little louder wouldnt hurt

What format are your songs? The phone can only handle MP3, AAC and M4A. If Its WMA, or any other, you can use Nokia Music Manager from the Nokia PC suite.

If ur 4ne has 20MB left, maybe tis to little, cos the 4ne(SDcard) stores data in a differnt manner ccompared to A PC. 4 example if u check ur mem. card memory status nd u'll find that the figure is diff 4rm the actual size of folders/files.... so remedy is to use a bigger mem. card, at least 512MB...

I have purchased 2 a month ago and it gives excellent speed especially when you use it as a modem.Well designed and user friendly.Well done Nokia!

I'm somewhat dissapointed, got mine yesterday from Vodafone Ro. The loudspeakers sound ok but not as high as my S-E W810, better bass but when someone calls, first the volume is low, only after a few seconds becomes normal...something like an ascending ringing, even if in the menu Ascending is not selected. Also, the voice of the one I call is heard low and sometimes metallic.
In rest, good phone, very flexible and has almost everything (except Led light and autofocus, but I have those on my W810 ;) ). I filmed in 352x288, the movies have good quality in good light (also u can film in 640x480).
No diffs between 6233 and 6234 except the Vodafone branding on the menu.

I recently bought the Nokia 6234 and i enjoy all the features.
Maybe i am doing something wrong but when receiving or making a call i can't hear the person. When i put the phone on loud speaker it is soft as well.
I used the button on the side of the phone and the max volume is 10, please help.

I got the fone yesterday and the fourth time 'n went on the internet it started with the "Packet data authentication failed" message. I do know that eternal rain already mentioned this problem but nobody answered him. Is there any hope?
Otherwise the phone is impressive indeed.

ok i just got my fone and im trying to use it and everytime i try to put a song on it doesnt work and it says the parameter is incorrect, i have like 20 mb left, i dont understand wat u mean wen ur talkin to james, i need it in simpler form pleaseee

I bought one a month ago and I'm very happy with it. Loud speakers indeed. My drawback is that, whenever I change themes, the profiles are reseted(with ringing tones setings and profile names) I updated to firmware 5.43..anyone knows something about it? 10x
@safa : the person who your speaking to in 3G can see what is in your phone camera. If you wish to be seen, turn the phone back:P

Apparantly if ur phone fades every 10 seconds, u should have the firmware upgraded for free at ur nearest nokia service centre and that will prolong the backlight duration.
