OK, so I bought this phone a week ago, and I`m sending this "warning" to all of you who intend to buy it : the battery lasts for maximum 36 hours in normal conditions, without listening to music or taking pictures or anything else... Just talking around 3-40 minutes in these 36 hours. The choice is yours

i have not got neither 6267 nor 6290 yet, but i have done some research on both the phone thru gsmarena and found that both the phone is almost the same, diff is the user interface (OS), series 40 and series 60. besides that, most of the features in 6290 also available in 6267. of course with series 60 it consider as smartphone where it has extra added application where series 40 don't.

Can someone post a personal opinion about the main display. Most Nokia displays look faint and low-quality compared to a Samsung and sometimes to SE!?
Is the display bright and clear?

SAR = 0,31 W/kg! One of the lowest ever! Way to go, Nokia! Just keep on this way (unlike SE T 650 with a killing 1,80 W/kg!)

i absolutely love this phone, i'm dying to get my hands on it.. shame, i still have no money.. maybe next week i would buy this.. :) does anyone know where i could find the violet one here in the philippines? the stores i went to only have the black unit.. thanks in advance!

I just place my order for a 6267 (black) for USD$249. I also got Bluetooth Stereo Headphones (Motorola's S9). Has anybody have something to say regarding the battery life using the phone as your main music device with stereo bluetooth connection activated all the time?

You can take pictures and video when the phone is closed, using the external screen as a view finder. Pictures a bit green and video noisy in low light but for the price, you cannot get a better phone. Very nice in lavender.

Have you ever realized that Nokia 6267 has 16M colors?! This is the reason why most Nokia phones today have short battery life.

You absolutely cannot take photos using the inside camera...nor would you want to, as the inside camera's resolution is very low.
The outside camera is 2 megapixels, as you know. It takes what you'd expect from a two-megapixel cell phone camera.
No text messages from the outside screen. The outside screen is nice as a music player with stop and pause and rewind and fast forward buttons. The outside screen also acts as caller ID and clock, etc. It will not show you the contents of a text message. You would need to open to the inside screen to read the messages.
All in all, I like my phone...as it is a great phone first for making and receiving calls. I use the music player all the time, as the speaker is loud and the sound is good.

video quality from downloaded videos is quite good.
camera quality is average.
sound quality is quite good.

i bought mine last month @ P12k in GH.....nice phone over all....battery is quite a downer since my old 6131 lasts a bit longer...had to charge battery almost every other day...but good deal

Hi! Could someone PLEASE help me!!! I just got a brand new Nokia 6267 and a 2g memory card for it...Its quality is awes, however when i go into 'Applications' and try to select 'Memory Card' two warnings come up on my phone. The first one says 'Memory card not formatted' then, 'Operation failed'...Could someone please help me to get it to work? Your time will be greatly apprectated.Thankx!
