Hi All,
I have this mobile from last 7 months. I did not have any issues. But from lase 2 months I have issues like -
I do not get signal where it used to be full signal.
Also it goes off automatically.
It have low battery life.

Hi, i'm bought nokia 6270 2months ago.i faced difficulty. D phone restarts oftenly, when i want to use mig, opera then it generates error, i can only use phone installed software i can't run installed software it show error. Its firmware ver. Is 3.81. Is there any one who can help me? I will never bought 6270 if i know so many problems about d phone. My email k_ronii@yahoo.com

no i got it from almost 5 months and it didn't restart even once and i also have 1gb full of songs and others with the old software 3.69 or the new 3.81

its awesome, picture quality is very good and sound quality is also very very good.
can any one help me finding advance mp3 player for this mobile.becoz i want more features in mp3 player.

I thought the Nokia 6270 was class and comfort combined...a real stealer...but i guess the company stole from me....7 of my friends and i had bought this phone and almost all of us are facing huge issues. Moreover, every one of us have been to the service center at least once.
The phone has some multiple issues.
a) Though it is a power packed phone, launching two or
more application causes the phone to hang,
b) the sliding function in due time becomes redundant as because then the screen hangs when u slide the phone to make a call.
c) the handset suddenly fails to read the SIM.
d) the power button becomes redundant..as in the phone refuses to shut down by power button and when u take the battery out to reboot....u have to literally get into combat mode to start it again from the power button.
I had all these multiple problems and the handset has been with the Nokia people for 3 out of the past 7 months that i have bought the phone.
The Nokia Care people are hardly facilitiating, imagine that i have been almost rebuked by their representative saying that it was my fault that I bought a sliding handset.
I have been so frustated with the company as i sometimes think about the huge difference in quality of service in India and europe where the company is based out of. I am sure they are taking the indian consumer on a ride and a visit to the third party customer service office will open ur eyes. I went to one of the primary service center in Mumbai, at phoneix mills, i reached there around 11:30 and my number THEN was 550 , imagine how many ppl come there for giving their handset on repair. To verify i wanted to check how many have come to take the phone and VOILA!!!! the same is the story on that front....so i beleive it is an everyday affair.
While dealing with the company, they offered me a repalcement ..but of the same model. The various options that i have offered to them and which they have refused are as under.
a) Give me a lower range model. -- They refused saying it has to match the MRP.
b) I told them to guide me to a dealer with whom i can excahnge the model and pay the difference. They refused again.
c) I asked them wether it would be sealed new handset. They refused saying that they will just give me a handset over the counter and nothing else. When i asked them to mail this offer they have sent me a mail but withut referring to the same.
d) In the end I asked them to refund me the current MRP (as we all know, the handset prices fall) they refuse that too saying that it is against the comapny policy.
Now, i am stuck with the phone and my friends and me are seriously contemplating a class action suit agianst them, if there are more such people who want to join please let me know.
By the way frustated with 15000 bucks of mine down the drain...i switched on to LG temporarily...

The phone is a very good one . It is the most user freindly phone ever used by me .
The only comment i would like to give on the phone is that from 2 megapixel ,it should be made around 3 or 3.15 megapixel as the nokia
N93.One more thing it should have is more of
wallpapers and screen-savers.

this phone is perfect for me but -- i have a 6233 and 1GB mem card full of songs - and everytime im lising to my songs it restarts i bet this has the same problem becuse its the same series 40 menu

hi looking at the post below i would like to make some suggestions.
Even i am using nokia 6270 for quite some time ... i agree that it was having some problems as told to me so within one month of my purchase of this fone i sent it to a nokia priority dealer for OS upgrade..it was done free of cost ... and from that day till now i never faced a problem of restart or keypad or network etc....
its a great fone with a great camera and sound .... its stylish looks just makes it great...i have the royal blue color (now nokia no more manufacture this color) and i feel it was the best color as compared to tan and silver... over all i recommend this fone .. al u need to do is get the OS upgraded and thats it .. u r all set... :)

if i buy this phone il take a big riskk on how i look ppl will say it looks ugly but then it depends on the colour of the phone the black looks less ugly

hello!! i think realy this fone is very nice but when you marked the fil's you can't sent via bluetooth or infrared or...
this fone have high quality and high sound

this phone is prefect for me at the moment i have a Nokia 6233 and 6280 i like the stereo speakers of 6233 that this has and the big screen and flash that 6280 has this phone is both of those phones put toghether i need this phone but i think i looks UGLY who agrees or is it just GSMARENAS picture they have of it that loooks UGlY === tell me some1 is it really an ugly phone ?????

i mine works great... never had a problem with it... maybe some just don't know how to use a mobile phone.

Nokia 6270 is the worst model which is making disappoint the users buying Nokia. Compnay should a circular to offer free replacement of all traboulful sets. I never recommand to buy Nokia set.
