Have bought this set last month & facing problem of saving flash msg from network, after which if needed to access saved folder set restarts & here in pakistan Nokia dealer is Mobilezone who have reintalled firmware & updated it accordingly but no use, & now they say if nokia is going to update its firmware & remove this fault then they can help me or its no use, as they now are not willing to replace or help me out in any way. So please who have not bought Nokia 6270 dont go for it or else u will be crying like me ;)

First time I ever saw this phone was in cell phone shop I did like the way it look, slide and the 2Mpixel camera that the phone has.
First few days I did like it after one week of using it the power ON and Off stop working, I thought the phone has one year warranty from Nokia and that is what the guy in the shop told me I did contact Nokia and what they told me is this: NokiaUSA does NOT carry this phone it's overseas phone from different country and we can take it you will need to send it back where you bought it from originally,
I went back to the store and the manager offer me to fix it and I had no other choice soo he took it and it took more than two weeks to get it back it was working fine , Three days later start missing up again when I slide the phone the screen show up side down I took it back there fixed it again and this time it took over one month got it start using it same thing over and over took it back to the store and the manager decide to give me a new one in the box I did open the box got the phone out change the SIM card try to power up the phone did not work the phone had the same problem too lol
advise, in case that you still want to buy this phone Nokia 6270 make sure that the seller offer some kind of warranty do not depend in Nokia that would not help.

how can i set the lcd for more or less light..and does the camera have options for "indoor,outdoor,fluorescent,incandescent"?????and another thing..my animated pics/walpapers(gif's)..are animated for 20-30 sec then they stop they're animation...plsssssss

Well I must say that the sound quality is fantastic and the camera is quite good but the phone keeps on rebooting on its own, I've sent it for repairs and spent all together $412.60 for shipping back and forth and all that which is way more than the price I got it, well no human being is perfect but this was definately an abysmal shot by Nokia; quite disappointing and surprising but anyway don't waste your hard earned money on this one, cause if you don't have patience and calmness, you'll probably fling the "Automatic Reboot Device" against the wall the moment you even leave the store!

how reliable is the sliding feature , heard bad stuff abt it im plannin to buy this fone

don't have any problems with it and it works perfectly and im using a 1gb memory card... it has a nice screen and a loud and clear dual speaker but im chamging it soon to a n73 music edition.

this phone sucks, guys dont invest in 6270
no dobt the design is sleek but all other features r entierly screwed up!!!
i think nokia should replace it as soon as possible.

I got this phone in europe, and I'm using it with T-Mobile. whenever I get a voicemail, I will get a textmessage with _@ do you guys know how to solve this problem?

I consider this phone really a Kurra in terms of functionality and screen display. The sounds is amazing and it is Jinga. I vouch for this phone.

I purchased Nokia 6270 1 year Back and i feel this is the best phone in terms of music and Screen. But the edition of 1GB which is coming now is comparatively has the lesser volume compared to the previous edition which was coming with 512 MB Card. I don't Know the reason. Can you give me reply in this regard.For sure you can check the sound quality of the older version with the new and you can find lot of difference.
