I just bought it...and am like really nervous cos after reading people's opinions i am not sure how am gonna feel about using it. but am pretty sure it will be worthwhile....I HOPE!!!

I have the phone for about a month. The camera is the best I have seen on a phone. Daytime pictures are awesome, nighttime are not that good. Music player and stereo sound are superb. Display is great and the phone is not slow at all. The battery is good for 2 days if you play with it and 3 if you just speak. The only drawback is the sliding mechanism. Only a week after I bought it become loose and there is a gap that is kind of irritating.

hi guy's i just wanna say that the nokia 6270 is 1 of my fav phone's but ther is some thing that is bothering me and that is that i can't have any programe's on the phone :(
but if any body know's how plz tell me

supper phone.....i got for Rs.15350.....i am in chennai..no fone can beat the resollution....it is 320*----...
software is not needed at alll. any doubt ask me......

My 6270 has no problems at all, so... I dunno, maybe you should try to update your phone's firmware (at a Nokia store, for example).

My phone always gets restarted after sending SMSs. Can u tell me why this is happening and what should i do to avooid this problem?
Ps:-Dont tell me to stop sending SMSs.

Actually the charger will become the nokia's standard one. 6270 was one of the first models to have it.

The phone is awsome for music lovers and for those who want advanced camera.However there are certain shortcomings.
1)The charger is unique, which means in case of emergancy you cannot use someone else's charger.
2)slow in processing data such as opening files and photos.
3)since the phone is a 40 series the important sofwares to install in the phone such as antivirus is not easlily available.
overall I would give 5/10 sine it has awsome music player and a good camera. but it also has the mentioned shortcomings which make up for the good.

The only thing good about this phone is the camera and screen resolution.it is a java phone and not a symbian phone so you can not use those applications that are available for syncian phones.it does not have pen function and it does not support mobile opera but only opera mini that cannot access full features of the net.
I would suggest going for 3250.
DO NOT BUY IT.

hi every one. 6270 is a good mobile phone, but it can not use symbian software ,it difficult , and the video are not good too. can some one tell me the website to download game and themes for this phone . if u can , please send some themes for me ok!. thank big big . good day guy

Im from Pakistan...im using this phone from last 1 week its an awesome,fablous,gr8 phone nokia ever made....i think one of the best....no its the best phone in nokia's sliding phones...but i want to know i thing....can i put any apps. in it...coz it has some apps. in it bydefault..i wnt to hide or lock my folders...some personal data in them...so is there any app or java app. for it? If any1 knws plz let me kne or if he can plz mail me at ramismasood@gmail.com....thnx in advance....anyway for those ppl who now planned to buy this phone ..... to dipez,
se k750/w800 are fantastic phones, but don't have EDGE in them (shame, se!). i won't advice u to keep any of them for 3~4 years.
i ask u to buy 6233/6270/6280; but it would be better if u buy a symbian os phn (3250 or any other 1 for that matter)

The main difference between the 6270 and the 6280 is that the 80 is 3G. So if your wanting 3G services then get the 6280 if not go for the 6270.
