can u help me with this problem? is this an error or this is usual to all 6270 phones? tho the settings is still on ringing/ not in ascending. the only problem i have is on the msg tone, coz here in the phils, most of the time we do a lot of texting and i may not be able to get the msg in time bcoz of the sound that is so low.

Celboy, I may be because of a error that makes ringtones (all) ascend when getting a message or call... The message tone is so short that it doesn´t have time to ascend to full volume. I had this problem, and a simple restart fixed it.

Hi even i had the restarting problem with my 6270 after 2 hrs of purchsing it but i managed to get a replacement the nxt day...Cud anyone let me know whether there r any s/w available for 6270

CALLING EVERYONE, ESP TO FRED.
may i know how does the incoming message or call alert of ur phone sound like, is it loud or not?
when u personalize ur tone settings like ur msg tone, when u scroll to that msg tone and check the sound, its so loud but when u activate it. its not the same sound as what u heard when u check it.
can anyone tell me there experiences?

To answer Fred's question...
I bought A 6270 last December. My best friend bought w550i 3 weeks ago. One thing I can say, I'll never change my 6270 for a w550i.
6270 advantages: 512 mb (expandable) while w550i has only 256mb built-in memory, elegant business like design, really good keypad, awesome and I mean AWESOME display, 2 MP cam
w550 advantages: funky design, cool built-in games,
audio quality on both phones (headset/speakers) are almost the same

Let me know what you guys think. I'm REALLY excited about the W810, but worried about the price. It looks like the 6270 is an AMAZING phone, but I was wondering about the sliding part of it. Does it hold up? Anyone who owns this phone, do you like it? Thanks for the thoughts.

the sound quality of this phone its awesome!! w550 have less features and cost the same. the screen its awesome too the best of it kind. i will buy a stereo bluetooth headset i heard the samsung ones work like charm so lets see maybe will replace my ipod fully

Hey Friends,
All you users who owned 6270 tell me one thing which phone is worth bying. Nokia 6270 or SE W550i. Gimme the rate comparison regarding indian Market. What I got is that W550i is near about 14K ($320) and 6270 is less than 17K ($370) I know that Nokia has lots of other features but what i want is a rocking sound quality both on speakers and headphones. I heard W550i and it good we can't say anything as SE are building phones on WALKMAN technology. I don't think this $50 diffrenence between these 2 phones are too much if NOKIA 6270 has better sound quality then i am going to buy it with blind eyes. Read all opinions of you people but help me also make me select b/w W550i, 6270. One more thing as 6270 is not on Symbian, does this phone has a quality of playing multiple application like in Symbian OS. means are we able to lesten songs and watch images and do anyother thing at same time. Because this thing is a major lag in 6230 and 6230i

May I know for how long can Nokia6270 record video. Can it be connected to tv with video cord as the D600? I want to buy either of the two phones but if the Nokia can be connected to tv then I think I have to settle for that one so please do reply asap. Rely

when you play a 3gp or mpeg4 recorded from another device, or simply just a video. It's very good. like i said the 6270 is powerful u wont see any lag compare to small cellphone like w800, d500. Plus remember the resolution is good the image is clear.
