You can install jar files.
If they make a jar version of does apps you mentioned, I guess Yes you can install apps.

nokia 6270 seems to be a s40 platform phone.Now my question is can u install appz on this OS like u can on the other nokia's for example smart movie player,advanced call manager and all the other tiny *.sis files.Will this phone supprt installation of those files?

yeah the sound quality of this phone its great ^^ loud and clear, i sometimes left my ipod at home because of this babe. great phone recommended!

I am using this phone from last one month. My comments are
1)I am facing white screen problems..
when U are navigating in the memory card and press the back it will take some time to open the contents of up-folder, if u press any key in between it will show a white screen and then ur wallpaper.
2) Video Quality is worst, u can't choose video size, it is fixed.
3) I am unable to play MP4 files, even i tried to a play a 3gp file generated through MP4 codec. But no luck. If anybody played please let me know the process.
4) Still photos are very good.

1. No!! It all depends on the memory on your memory card..
2. I think F-Secure is developing a Anti Virus for S40 platform, I mean they got it on S60 already.
3. Yes you can see Movie or clips on the phone, The only bad is you cannot fast FWD or RWD..

So they all have the same performance.. Only different is features and designs.

hi peoples
i have one of these phones in the light blue, managed to get it about 2 weeks ago. Is a first class device, screen is big bright clear and great to look at vids and pics on. It can record video for the time you have memory capacity for. Texts are so easy as the buttons are well designed (compared to n70 especially). Top phone, get one!

how is mp3 quality n camera quality .Is it better than nokia n70 phone in comparision with onlyyyyyyyyyyy camera n mp3 player n nothing else .

well i dont know if N e of u hav experienced this, but my fone never restarts if i play some music in the background and then browse my files, even sometimes its lighting fast speed. If only this could b achieved without playing the music in the background...that wud b cooool....n e ways just waiting 4 the latest firmware i suppose now....

What do you mean? protected like the N70 or the 6680? They have slide mechanism to cover the lens when your not using it.
Well as for the 6270 it doesn't have that.. but there is plastic glass like protector to cover the lens.
