hi,
its been a while that i am waiting for GSM arena to post there expert reviews for Nokia 6270. i want to buy this phone. can somebody tell me hows the phone in total.
please help me ASAP.

Why not get a 6111? the differenecs in specs are marginal.

Hi all
Remember my auto-reboot problem when dialing with 6270?
The just came back from Nokia Service Center.
Took them more than a week for repair. That is also after so many calls and complaint to Nokia careline service.
They replace the system module and so far works fine.
Due to changing of new module, I've been given a new IMEI number.
Hope this help others with similar problem.

I don't think so.. 6282 doesn't have a dual camera and its has 3G capabilities..
Ive seen Samsung phones that has single camera also and 3G capable..
So I don't think so!!

AZTIGGGG!!!! really.. not alot of people got that phone there? You better be careful mann.. That could be your life.. You know how it is.. Been hearing alot of crimes over cell phones.
Anyhow.. I had that problem too.. whenever i browse too fast.. it freezes then restart.. constantly..

now i see, so if it is a s40 will it or will it not run any .sis programs? i tried opening a .sis program but it wont run. so it'll be the same with theme files. Hmmmm... this is so interesting! thanks guys!!!

A month after buying it, I've finally discovered something wrong with my phone. Scenario: battery drained, I plugged it on a socket then turn it on... boom! turns on and off 3x then turns off. When you turn it on again, the same thing happened. It happened 2 weeks ago and it happended again last weekend. Luckily when I brought it to nokia makati, it worked fine. No firmware update yet according to them. Well I guess I have to be careful not to drain the battery again, hehehe.
Regardless of the problem, it's the best phone around. And besides, I haven't seen somebody using it, I'm unique I guess!

I have a nokia 6270. I am pleased with the phone, allthough it still doesn't have software, games and etc. that is made explicitly for it. As far as I am concerned, 6270 is better than 6280, with the exception of 3G. ONLY thing I don't like is that the message ringtone is too low in volume. Other then that, EXCELLENT!

The best thing you could do is..
Convert your files using Nokia Multimedia Converter
It convert the files to a default Nokia settings 3GP..
If you need instruction on where to find this software..
search yahoo or google for it.

Hahahahahahahahaha... That's funny..
Firmware Update is updating the SOFTWARE of the phone..
3G capabilities is HARDWARE issues..
The bottom line is if you want your 6270 to have 3G capabilities you need to add another hardware to it.. (reconstruct the phone)
The easiest way of doing this is getting yourself a 6280..
