I noe how bad u feel about these peeps ignorance & stupidity..wile i found this phone terrific (knowing wat it could do and cant) is giving me a big boost over anything else!
Dun worry abt the the "headless" qtns cos its draining unnecesary energy that you have. Instead lets enjoy and laff out to it :) Cheers to everybody in here!

Hi,
I'm from Sydney. I recently went back to Nokia mobiles after a 5 year absence.
My phone is terrible. My software is v3.60 (*#00000# on your mobile).
- When using Vodafone Live! it sometimes hangs. (to fix: reboot)
- Somtimes the mobile suddenly restarts continuously. (fix: reboot)
- Just yesterday I received an SMS - and it continuously vibrated!!! (fix: shutdown phone/attempt to take out the battery)
- Sometimes after drop outs, it cannot find the reception so the phone becomes hot and wastes battery. (fix: reboot)
- Sometimes a call comes in and the phone the phone rings once then restarts.
Now I wish can find my receipt to get it fixed. But after all these continuous complaints I'm not sure if the phone is even fixable.
I'm not telling you not to get a Nokia mobile.. just not this model. Maybe I ought to ebay it - goodluck suckers!!

The 6280 2mp camera can only take good foto during daylight outdoor.
When indoor, even wif nite mode or flash, it sux big time!

i agree with leq5, this fone is fantastic.. i have mine a week ago and its doing good.. i love the features, super cool screen.. not too big not too small.. a very nice and good fone.. at first when i have it i got annoyed with the slider coz it moves a little.. now i understand why it was buit in that way.. i really love this phone and i think nokia will not realease such a good fone for trash.. just wondering why some of the pipz here having too much trouble on thier 6280... maybe you put too much on it.. or maybe coz of putting network lock like vodafone,orange etc causing it to malfunction.. one more.. the front cover can be remove easily to clean the dirt/dust getting inside your beautiful screen.. i heard issue about dust on thier screen.. just praise the top of the cover with your thumbnail along with the sides... but please be careful, you might broke your casing.. if you broke it you can buy one.. its now available..
i love this fone.. surely nokia do too much testing before they release it in the market.. all of your questions about 6280 have yes or no answers..

this phone is shxt, nokia is getting backward, their designs are outdated, they just make phone bigger and heavier, used to like it alot, but what they've done lately is really a drawback

nope.dun think that the front cam can take photos.. its only for video calls.

so u mean we cant use front camera for taking photo or takeing video? so is that front camera only for video call ? and how to use it....^^ sory i'm soo noob in this case...ty ^^

this phone is rubbish, nokia going down hill fast. i had 6680 it was always cutting off, this phone the same, was also faulty. took it back to shop and was told they have 1 coming back for every one they sell, says it all really. smart looking phone but rubbish, ive changed to the lg u880 and its a great phone.

before anyone commented on how fxxx up nokia 6280 is and post how the phone go 'against' u by auto restart,blank screen, screen crack...basically any form of damages, i guess b4 u put up any fxxxing comments over here,u gotta ask urself is the phone really so fxxx up? or is just that u post some no brains comments stating ur phone went faulty and claim is nokia's fault but FORGET to include u actually did something funny to it by installing dunno wat fxxxing files and softwares b4 hand and result in such?? i do noe of a few here that's doing something like that...please, think carefully b4 saying ANYMORE rubbish, thank you...know what ur lookin for in a phone b4 buying...please dun expect a 2MP camera phone to have a 3MP output when the specs have already STATED fxxxing clearly it's a 2MP phone etc...YOU always say how come SE or watever brand phones 2MP, nokia 6280 also 2MP, but the difference is so fxxxing big? walau nokia 6280 sucks lo, then please, go buy that SE or watever brand phones and stop leavin brainless comments over here, do u noe how many ppl who are considering to buy 6280 are mislead by wat u assXXXX say and miss a chance to own a nice phone that's up to their expectation but not your's?please...next time if u wanna say ur screen crack, apart from saying nokia produce lousy phones, pls do include that mayb u throw it to the ground with all ur might for fun and it accidentally cracked and nokia sucks...when u tell ppl ur screen went blank for nothing, pls include mayb u installed dunno millions of unknown, unsupported, unsafe files into it and corrupt ur software and then say sunno y ur screen turns blank and repeat once again that nokia sucks big head!

-battery lasts 2 to 3 days
-nice video (640 x 480...cool!)
-this is a 40 series...sis files are for 60 series only
-install SAFE (java)for your passworded datas
-you can't use the front camera for pictures...only for 3g/video call
-with 3 sizes of fonts to choose from in messaging that's why i've sold my n91 and ignored n80.

Hay guys,let me make one thing cleare that if you are going to buy it then fotget all the things because only the name of nokia is enough for it but don't trust me just go and take it and it's my promiss that you are going to forget the world once you gonna get it.

HI,
I had purchased one of this 6280, and found it quite good, except that i am not able to install .sis file on this.
If I need to run qick office I cannot do it.
I found that it doesnot support .sis file.
The camber is quite good and other feathers are fine.
The battery life is also not that good, it is just OK.

On Weibin case..i also agree to it.Not sure whether times have change. When two to three years back at Cineleisure Nokia Centre, one gentleman was arguing with the lady manager due to exchanging a brand new piece. The lady repeatedly inform him that Nokia didnt have the 1 to 1 exchange policy eventhough he had ask the lady to see his phone "extraordinary numbers of repairs report" which is just coming to a month use only. In the end i heard he wana civil suit Spore Nokia for "cheating him"
