my 6111 req charging every 3 days or so,i turn it off most nites and talk up to 30min each day,send 20 messagages a day,play games for upto an hour a day.as i understand it the 6280 battery holds bout the same.for the record in the first few months i only got 1-2 days out of the battery,its gotten better with age.j.v

Hi!! How often do you charge your nokia? I heard that Nokia 6111 is very bad and the standby time is only couple of days... I really like Nokia 6280 and would like to buy it, but if I had to charge it every day...... It is not worth....

it's a nice mobile phone basically had everything. i think the only phone that can compete it according to features was the sony ericsson w900. they both have similar functions. and the s40 looks like a symbian interface nice job nokia...

Thanks for ur reply. Well, the right selection key which occupied by Orange logo is not removable, i cannot change to anything! Plus we dont have Orange network in my country!! and i am sure there's a PURE version (3.70) supplied by nokia, i think i have it, and i will try to flash it in one of the mobiles' markets we have here in jordan :)

just got my 6280 yesterday.excellent phone superb graphics easy to use.looks better than the photos.but theres so much to it i,d recommend joining nokia club.its free.when u get a problem they can fix it straight away.nokia club number tel.0845045555

i hav bought this ph by singtel 27.4.2006 dated.i got a big problem,i used ougoing calls this ph for 3 days but nowadays i cannot call outgoing.if someone knows please
guide me and incoming is fine.i hav contact nnokia repair canter by mail but they reply
me the usage anothe nokia phone.

hey guys just got this phone. but can anyone tell me how to turn off the themes? is it possible?
i changed my wall paper to an image but every time i go to the menu, the wall paper for the theme comes up? can i get rid of it?

Folks, the front camera is for video calls. If you don't have a video call (3G) service then you don't need to use it. It's a low quality one anyway. You have a 2Mpixel camera on the back with a mirror for seeing your pretty face while shooting (if that's why you want to use the front camera).
this phone doesn't have a a Symbian OS - it's a Nokia Series 40 v3.

Hi Dragos,i dont have Yahoo Msgr yet..
Supersonic,that so call the orange logo thing on ur right selection keys..it has been programmed in collaboration of Nokia & Orange which means they embedded it on the mobile.Only nokia(with permission) can only unlock it & get rid of it. My set preinstalled with the S***tel crappy program while im using Star***. Nokia told me they will "try" to unlock it if they have the unlock key from S***tel...but they didnt. So what i do is to replace it with other softkey functions :)
