Hi,
I have bought a Sandisk 1gb for my nokia 6280, password protected it and now its not visable anymore, does anyone know how fix that problem? I have read a post which someone said if you password protect it it goes missing, but nokia says it is a problem with kingston memory cards, But if its happened to mine and its a Sandisk then its a problem with nokia .. Please help am gutted!

I just bought it but i'm going to trade it... i've only tried it for one day so i don't know the whole phone... the sound is great, the keyboard (is this the way it's written? im not english ^^ ) is very good.
it has a little "recess" (?) but its minimal, at least for now... the vibration is medium, but i guess its not too much.
the major BUT for me... is the camera! i compared it with the Sony Ericsson k750i and w800 and the nokia is really crappy! i pohotographed a text about size 12 and it didn't have any focus! on the contrary, the sony ericssons have great focusing.
it's not one of the lightest nor heaviest phones.. its nice =).
that's all i remember...

i have a very girly questions (hehee!) (1)i saw from the manual that there is a hold for waiststrap, tho i see who the hole is but i cant seem to strap it over. (2)when i trsf file from bluetooth it always auto saved under phone memory rec'd files and when i tried to move it to card memory i cant seem to choose the desire folder to store. does anyone has the same problem as mine? tks ...

oh well thats annoying! i just got it upgraded to v3.65!
so... what does 7.0 have extra that 3.65 didnt fix?

Hey Dragos...
Well, I read on a forum that in order to update the software, u need the FLASHER BOX, which is a hardware (external one) that flashes the phone to a higher version, it costs like $300, besides the cables and the software for transferring the new mobile software! both softwares r available, but that box is the problem :p
Anyways i will try flashing the mobile without box and see what will happen... Cheers :)

for the person that aked about the secondary camera, you cant take self pictures of yourself with it like the N70 you can only use it during a video call

but toking abt taking photos and videos, quality is really gd, keke...in fact i just wondered sometimes did i bring a digital camera with quality video function out instead of a phone?? haha...

so far no wor from wat i noe...
and it seem that after inserting some new words that doesn't appear in the dictionary, it's still not able to save so it's kinda of troublesome to re-enter e word over & over again...dun seem to provide any keylock function when it's in unslide position(only unlock), no fast forward or rewind for video and it happens at times my favourite song in the concert's at e last track!! omg~ haha...sometimes tends to lag n i guess it's due to the limited video frames per sec, couldn't resume video(where i paused) if i exit to read an sms or so...i rmb my previous nokia 3230's able to do it...but quality wise it sucks...keke

very nice phone...camere in low light area maybe not so good, but the rest are ok!...working fast, no restart problem, comfort keypad, smooth sliding, sound very nice, easy to transfer file from pc, etc...
but got a small problem with the secondary camera, y it can't function without 3G?...cannot take selfshoot for example like N70...or maybe i dunno how to turn on the camera without 3G?...can anybody let me know how to turn on the secondary camera without video conversation?

Well, I think there is a way to uggrade the firmware, actually i am working on it, it will take me another couple of days, i still dont have the firmware but i am almost there. I will keep everyone updated with this, even as Dragos said it's not safe, but i have a friend of mine who sells phones and agreed to test the new firmware useing the computer on one of the mobiles (Nokia 6280) he has, that will happen within 2 days hopefully... That's all i have... Cheers :)

Hi iamme ,
Well ... you have to take the phone to a nokia center to upgrade it .. i don`t think that is any possbile to upgrade it from home and if it is possible , it`s not so safe ..
If you probably find a software that is says it upgrades it and wanna try it by yourself at home GOOD LUCK :)

You know what it didn't worked as I am activating it through short cut (left key) but if you active general profile from settings and from there you again set time for meeting profile, it will work... I don't know is it something concerned with software.
Also can anybody tell me how to upgrade the firmware to 3.71 thanks,

Hmm..try activating general profile now and back to main screen. Then proceed to activate a timed profile of ur choice..see it helps.
