i buy a 6280 and i like it but i would like know if il be created aplications for this phone?! and one more question, this phone has operative system (symbian). what is that series?

In order to make the 2GB memory card work you must insert it into a card reader & connect the card reader to your PC & format it under FAT or FAT 16. Then put it into your mobile phone & it will work 100%.
DO NOT FORMAT IT IN FAT 32 or above i.e. NTFS etc

ive just brought the 2gb mini sd card, my normall 64 worked fine with transferriny files to and from the computer.. but this 2gb needs to be formatted.. well thats what it says... but i try and do that but it says the actiopn cannot be completed.. ive tried formatting it on my phone but still no hope. if any body knows how i can get it too work it would be a great help. thanks ppl... i really need to get it to work... Checked into this 128mb memory rumour with a mate who works at Nokia on series 40 operating systems (including this phone). To paraphrase him.....
"Total rubbish I'm afriad. The 6280 has got 16Mb total internal memory. That includes the phone image, language and content packages, which will leave around 5 or 6 Mb for user data. Its got a memory card slot, ffs. Why would we sell it with excess "secret" on-board memory!!!"
....So there you have it. It's not true, there is no such secret code to add memory. Go and buy a memory card, they dont cost much (I've got 256mb in mine and its fine)

the Nokia 6270 produces n excellent sound thru the ear phones while listening to music....does 6280 produce the same quality sound?

I gave up on this phone and go back to N70!
Too simple phone, camera only looked on the screen but photo print not very good. N70^
Battery comsumption is high and batt expensive.
N Series is more value for money...

To: Dragos, i agree with you..this Danial & boyan sound fake.The code to unlock,y nokia wana built-in 128mb and keep it to themselves..wondering.
While im enjoying every fun bits of this phone, sorry to hear those having a bad day with it. I suggest try the customer service of either the mobile operator or the nokia itself..they have better help when comes to this."cheers"

I brought the fone 2 days ago and when i brought it i didnt charge it up b 4 hand, and the battery went and so i put it on charge and i havent been able to switch the fone on since,
Seen bit like a crappy arse fone atm, and im really not happy with it at all

Hey , are you still here? or you just posted a opinion and walk away ?
i really don`t think it`s possible to enlarge the memory with just a simple code
For a larger memory you don`t need a code , you need a better hardware part , not a software part :)
Please correct me if i`m wrong , and if it is so , tell me the code too :))

got this phone on T-Mobile. Push to talk is unable and the push to talk button has being replaced with a voice recorder shortcut wich you are unable to chance. What is the point in PTT if no UK network supports it?
also will not take a standard/traditional nokia charger, like all other nokia phones which use the same charger??!!! Pain or what
