Hi Suhaimi,

Read your problem about words not being able to be saved by the ductionary. I faced the same problem too. Can it be resolved? Somehow i cannot find the 'predictive word' function as stated in the manual.

    Prav < Its only avail in landscape,sure you can turn in potrait(holding phone the way it was meant to be hold) Cheers

    Dragos < I tink the phone will smartly manage which memory it will stored into.Big chance is in the SD :)

    Guys! just to inform you that ive brought my 6280 to nokia centre to adress a few thing that u guys had mention that affect mine too like:
    1) Dictionary not saving spelled word,
    2) Phone resolution readjust as u zoom around even being set to 2mp.
    3) Calls did not end when slide phone close(even after activating the slide handling)
    They will be calling me tomorrow around 5pm (Singapore time) to 'collect' the phone and should there be a 'upgraded' software,they will flash it in. Goodluck to me!

    ONE MORE THING: Pls do not forget your password for ur SDcard cos it cant be reset by Nokia themselves.The best just leave it off or store the password in a cool dry safe place ;P

      I say again.....

      THERE IS NO SECRET CODE and THERE IS NO 128MB INTERNAL HIDDEN MEMORY.

      Spoken to a mate who actually worked on this phone in Nokia R&D (not a speculator but someone who actually knows for a fact!!!!)and the internal memory is only 16mb. Thats 10MB for the phone image, operating system, applications, and 6MB for the owner.
      there is no hidden code and Daniel is wrong. period.

        just one question - when takinga pic from the camera - how do you make it vertical not horizontal??

          Hey guys...
          Well, i've been using the phone for a week, and it's working smooth. I heard and saw some problems such as turn the phone on the automatically off, these are only software problems, because that phone is fixed now. I'm very satisfied with the phone, nothing is going wrong. Considering the zooming reduced quality in the picture, i think the software is responsible for this issue, and if so, we hope that Nokia fix it in the next software version... Hope everyone having this mobile is satisfied, and if not, lets wait for the new version to be released.

            i take it this phone is a dog. orange are about to miss another "release date" - has any phone been at their "engineers" so long?

            perhaps it will go straight to the antiques roadshow for a review?

              And a question for gsm arena visitors :
              If i`ve got 5.5 free MB in my phone memory, and on my miniSD card 40 , and i want to receive a file of 8 MB on via bluetooth were it will be saved ?

                Yes Paul,u can can only save it on the phone memory and not the memory card...

                  I using nokia 6280...i capture a photo at night using nokia 6280...and the image so bad where there has many pink and red spot...I NEED TO KNOW IF I MY NOKIA 6280 HAS PROBLEM...SOMEBODY PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION...

                    I've been using 6280 for a month and I did not found any of the problems which are being reported here. Its true that I do not subscribed yet 3G services, neither Push-to-talk, neither Instant messages; when I do that I will see if there is any problem with the 6280 phone. I bought it here in Portugal for about 400 euros free of any operator.
                    Now a good new: you know that this phone has a 2MP camera? Error!!!! I have taking some photos and today I analyse them with PhotoPaint from Corel and Photoshop from Adobe and what is true is the photos have 5.5 megapixels!!!!!! I can send to any who ask me some exemples. Its true that with poor light conditions the quality is fair. Thanks for yout attention.

                      im using nokia 6280 for the past 2 weeks..the phone gets suddenly switchd off when tryin 2 play the mp3 player.how can i format a smartvideo.do u have any recommended sites 2 access good themes,,do let me know..

                          I had already change 4 sets of Nokia 6280. My problem is auto restarts while sms-ing or playing MP3. I'm asking for a full refund. The screens will blank off, and then it will auto start up. Stressed OUT!

                            HI guys im facing a problem I think many people have:
                            When i try to switch my phone on it shows me the nokia picture then it truns black and shuts itself down.
                            This is the second time it happens to me.
                            The manufacturer said that this is a software problem.
                            The first time it happened the ''phone'' memory was full and the second time i was receiving a file via bluetouth and i think the phone memory was full again.Anybody else want to discuss how this problem appeared so that we can resolve it?
                            If anyone has an answer plz email me.

                                    Hey , you didn`t understand until now it doesn`t exist such a code like this ?
                                    Why nokia keepped this memory unrevealed ?If it really exists , the Nokia company hadded more sailes if they said it hadded 128 MB instead of 5-6 :)

                                      Six members of family all had this phone with 3network. three phones already been back for repair. will swithch on get to nokia screen then screen dies. all phones fully charged properly - any one else had any problems. my phone is now in for repair so at present have no phone not even a loan replacement.
