Thank you

I have to charge this phone every single day. With my Nokia 6230 it would last about 2days before being charged.
Is there anything I can do about it?
When you first get the phone how long are you supposed to charge it for?

    ooooh , i didn`t sayed with bad intentions, i was just happy to find out if any these ..... "phones" works :)))
    Anyway , this was about 1 week ago , and because it broked in the first 48 hours , the provider changed to me :D :P
    I hope this one won`t have much problems like the other one , and hope it will have few bugs
    BTW , how can i find out what version of software have this phone ?

      Hi Dragos,

      Sad to hear ur bad experience while mine is as good as ever :( While it was a compliment for the phone but there are a few more in this forum have a fair share of "in good working condition" ,"generally was alright" ,"everything was fine"..they are few lucky ones to share the kind of enjoyment that i am currently having.

      Hope you will find a better phone for your next extra cash Dragos, best wishes!

          i don`n know ... i used this phone for 2 weeks , and it`s just not worthing the money... I regret i buyed it ..
          Too many bad opinions about it , and they are right , it`s just a big expensive junk :(
          And let`s face it , just to one single person who writed in this "forum" had no problem ..
          If you want to buy one , DON`T , you will regret ..
          I know it looks well , nice capabilities ... but i should taked the D600 , N70 or the D750 (SE)
          For a example at what junk it is :
          I hadded 4 MB free intern memory , and 200 MB on the card , and i was receiving a file with the bluetooth , and it turned off and when i was turning it on , it was switching off .. :(
          DON`T WORTH IT
          I should stay at my E330 , or to buy another .. :(

            Hi Khuram,
            The vga was only meant for video call..cant be used for other purpose like n70 does(take our own photo with it).
            Im sure that wasnt really your gravest concern ;) Cheers

              Hi Janet,

              I supposed wat was being meant is dat when u had sent 2 or more consecutive msgs to be formed as 1 msg. So it cud mean dat under normal sent, it will appear as 1 sent & 2 or more under parts msg. Hope it helps.

              If thats wat u meant by predictive then it a no as nokia adopt T9 in its text messaging. This predictive stlye originate from Pda, like the one on my P50.
              If u r in Spore it wud have stated in the nokia wty card,i had mine fixed at Suntec City.
              To call for more questions they provide only one number that is +6568228888. It will be quite a wait & u might just get general infos as u might spare their staff come pity cos they have too much phone models & might mistaken some features for another :)
              Hint: This is still a best place to post ur concern abt the phone. Its either i can help or others here that can share with you more indepth,tricks,tips if avail.

              Suggestions to comunicate are always open though.

                I've had this phone for six days and it is actually very good.
                The main disadvantage for me is that the internal memory is small and the volume of the sound speakers is low even when the volume is on max, although the sound quality is clearer.

                This is a small thing but annoys me because i dont understand it. On the message counter what does it mean by parts?

                  Thanks a lot. Noy my 6280 can also save words used.

                  But just wanna check with you on the predictive setting. Do you have that function where before you finish typing the word...the phone can predict (i.e. like the motorola razor)?

                  Anyway, glad you got your phone back and is working fine. But can you tell me where you got yours fixed and where i can call to ask more questions...

                    Hi guys,
                    I've bought this phone a week ago.I used to have 6111 phone,the problem that I have with 6280 is I transfered a music file by bluetooth from my 6111 to 6280,but the quality of playing same file is extrremly different.In face in 6280 is very lower that 6111 even if I put the volume on the max. level.
                    Is there anybody there who can guide me how I can increase the speaker power.

                      Hi,
                      I have bought nokia 6280 and using it since a month now its nice I have loaded 2GB of mini SD and copied 360 songs which are working fine. Can somebody tell me how to activate vga cam without being on video call?
                      Awsome quality of display I love it and speed is awsome fast.

                        out of six 6280 that my family have all obtained separatly now four of them have got the same fault. Keep shutting down and won't restart. shows nokia screen then seems to 'burn out' then go dead. I know not very technical explanation but all of us very frustrated and feel totally let down. Wish i had stayed with my motorola. !!!

                          Hi to all,

                          Firstly,i got the updated firmware of v3.65(22.03.06)flashed to my phone.

                          Secondly the dictionary save input HAD BEEN FIXED.

                          Thirdly as explained by the Nokia staff; it was as part of the feature where the resolution will be auto adjust.It was not a software problem but was designed like that by the programmers.So the techies couldn't fixed that without authorisation.

                          To Lynn,
                          With regards to predictive functions,try dis;

                          1) Go to "Create msg",
                          2) Tab into the message body,
                          3) On ur keypad,press '#' momentarily until it appears "editor settings",
                          4) See whether thats wat you looking for :)

                          To those who's having bad experience, im sorry to hear all those problems. Im just glad that i got the 'better' piece.

                            So I'm very lucky guy :) I bought my 6280 in Nokia 1st of April and I got only one restart since that time. Everything works great excluding this one exception.

                            I noticed that when I have more than 10-15 SMS in Inbox, going into Inbox is getting slower and slower. But it's probably software problem that - I hope - will be solved.

                              I purhcase nokia 6280 a month b4.and within that month i got changed it thrice.thr are lot of probs in this set : 1. the mp3 player restarts the mobile suddenly wiht a beep sound. 2. the sound of this mobile is not so gud.Compare it with sony ericcsion mobile.the sound quality is nothing. 3.thr is connection problem sometime. 4. whnever i save any contact then after "savecompleted " msg i get a message as "invalid selection"
                              i m really totalyy upset with this mobile.plz help me if u can...

                                  My wty status is still in so i do not have to pay anything..in this case they will see what can they do about the resolution's auto resizing. It may not be a glitch but hopefully they can reprograme the software so that we can get our maximum 2mp effect. P.S:Have not gotten my phone yet.

                                  Evry phone theres a downside,but this particular one; every was great..the music, the 262k screen was brilliant,voice clarity is good,video was excellent(640x480 in size).As its running on S40,simple application may still be dwnload though.

                                    I'm planning to buy this phone in couple of days and I just want to make sure that this phone does not get damaged easily. Does any one know the downside of this cellphone aside frm taking pictures, to text messaging? Please let me know asap! Also, can you tell me how much do you recommend this cellphone?

                                      i am using this nokia 6280 for last 1 month and i have the same problem when logged on to internet my phone reboots and i am even not able to download any thing even from the nokia web site get error message unknown file format or lost connection please try againg i do not know what is happening
