but the front camera is a low res one for video calls, the back one is a hi res one for photos, why would you want to take photos with the front one?

this phone sucks!!! wats the use of having dual cam if you cant take pictures with the front cam!!! i wanted to purchase it but when it couldnt take pics.. i just stuck with my 6270... has anybody used this fone usin the front cam just for pics and not video calling?? if so please tell me.. thanks

Please help. Got this the other week, was fine but now it wont send texts. I've entered and reentered message centre number and rang t-mobile but still it wont work. Does anyone know the answer please?

Wow, this phone is great. I enjoy using it. The only thing I find user unfriendly is the memory card. I can't transfer the built in data, to another memory card, it only fix on given 64mb ram. And it is a bit slow if u have a higher capacity ram, for me, I'm using 1gb ram. Well, overall is a great handy for now (March 2006). Can't wait for the Nokia N80 to launch in Singapore. And Nokia needs to buck up the service in Singapore. Staff here are unfriendly and take weeks to repair a Nokia 6111. That phone have lots of problem. They change the motherboard of the phone twice in my case, was force to sell it away. Thanks.

wonderful cell! could somebody help me with the theme? its says file format not supported. what should i do? help please. btw the format is .sis
is there any program converter to change the format into .nth? i'll be checking and looking forward to hear the replies. many thanks

to nokia bird ive just got this after coming from another brand and it(this other brand) had shortcuts on the so called 4 way joypad but there was so much missing that you could not set as a shortcut for eg contacts,,i kept going round the list again and again but to no joy so this might be the same in this nokia,,i thought you could shortcut everything but apparently not...Below someone on about I.M. etc ,,this may be operator dependant..My next comment is that its series 40 device and the first one ive owned and not used to it after only using series 60 devices since n3650.I thionk also that nokia dont do 262k screens like the other firms but that s wat i yhink anyway

I am trying to find out how to turn off 3Mobile adds at the bottom of the screen. I have seen this question posted, but not an answer. Overall, very happy with this phone, got it yesterday as an upgrade from 3.

opera mini dosent work with 6280 do you know when opera mini work with 6280. opera mini very very usesuful application why dosent work with 6280 i am very upsed

i read ur reply nokia bird, i don't know how you can only change 2 shortcuts on ur navi-key because on my fone u can change all 4 shortcuts. You must be diong something wrong man!

i've gotton this nokia 6280 3 days ago and im really enjoying it because its really nice with alot of features but like whenever i close the phone and im using the menu and going to gallery and stuff then go out to the main screen i have to open the phone like slide it up then slide it down in order to lock it, is that normal or is there another option that i can just lock it while the phone is closed and not sliding up?

No, it is a Series 40 handset and does not use the Symbian OS.
No, the VGA camera on the front of the phone cannot be used for taking self-portraits. It is for video calling only.
People really should read the review. It's not difficult and answers the easy questions.

6280 is stupidest phone nokia ever produced. Produce a phone with new OS without proper testing....streaming hang, IM doesn't work..Feel cheated
