So it's not possible to have my alarm + bluetooth,calender + calculator on my 4 way navi key?some1 replyed to my last post telling to go to shortcuts which i did but finding i can only change the 2 keys not all 4 of them.Am i doing something very wrong?Also my memory card door keeps coming open is any1 elses?i keep reading n reading but not finding many answers to alot of questions on this site!come on nokia fans were not all einsteins!!!

actually on my point of view its a very nice and fantastic phone though where i live we have no internate facility of the phone N:B i live in Tanzania, East Africa it has got all good features
however there are some shortrun of this phone such as the battery does not last long then the issue of dust
All in all its the best phone 4 more information just dial

hello my 6280 nokia phones cannot start it keep on restarting when i on the phone and the screen suddenly went black and again restart itself

i think that it is a gret phone
but i want now if it is serie60 or serie40 it is a veri big difrence

Basically 6 MB of internal memory is not enough but however when you get sumting sent higher via bluetooth such as a audio/video file lets say 8 mb it will send to your phone but will say select destination to save. Still 6 MB is ok. Just move all images/applications/games/ to m,emory card.

Hi there, ive had this phone for about a month now on 3, and i have to say its the best phone ive had yet. The screen is very sharp and the camera is excellent. Finally the phone is provided with a copy of Nokia Suite Manager that works properly and has some really good and easy to use features.
The battery life is fair, however using 3 services such as News and Sport streaming along with camera use only gives about 1 days worth of use. However in my opinion the only 'real' problem with this phone is that dust appears very quickly behind the screen, which with the backlight on sits ontop of pixels and can become an eyesaw.
The phone is relatively light and feels fairly robust for a 'slider', with a nice amount of resistence when opening and closing the slide.
Being 3G ive found the quality of voice calls has been hugely increased, giving excellent sound quality without the fuzzy sounds that 2G/2.5G sometimes has.
All together I am very happy with this phone and am really glad i moved to 3 rather than be constantly told by O2 that is would be released at 'the start of next week'. This 'start of next week' turned out to be 2-3 months, which finally resulted in O2 completely removing all traces of it on their website store since April the 3rd.

Are you people sick n tired of the default 3 Startup/Shutdown Animation? (the 3 logo)
I knw a way of getting rid of dat n then you can use your own theme which has Startup/Shutdown Animation..

hey barbie girl there are no cases for this fone because its a slider and there are only 2 standard colours which are : carbon black & Serling Silver.

I'm seeing a lot of complaints about dust under the screen. This is a problem suffered badly by the 6230/6230i.
With those two phones you can take off the front cover to clean the dust away. Has anyone found a way to clear dust from the 6280, either in a similar way or some other?

I have had this phone since one week. Software version 3.60. I had only one "self turn off". It is very good phone, but there are things that could have been designed better (sliding mechanism - clearence, dust under the screen - appears very fast).

anyone know how to open up the back and put in the battery?! i keep trying to slide it off int he direction the instructions say and i'm sure i'm being v dim but seriously can't get it off!!

I'm waiting 4 phone on Orange. They tell me sent back to Nokia few times to iron out problems. I don't want what happened, for example, with Voda and the Moto V3x so happy to wait.
Is already sorted on 3, a friend thinks its great.
