can we choose to store incoming messages directly to memory card instead of phone memory?
and since 6280 is not a symbian phone, i assume we cant download applications to it right..

So its out already on the 3 and Vodafone networks in the UK. Anybody have an idea of when its available on Orange. Really need a new phone before the end of the month! (Had my eye on the 6280 since January!) Or if anyone knows if the Sony Ericsson W810 will be available on Orange before this one? Any help would be much appreciated :) Thanks.

soo....i can't use front camera to make itself pictures? i can't use it as on nokia 6680?yes?

Year, it seems that all nokia's 6280 have the same problems with the switching on and off. I had exactly the same problem with my 6230. Just play with it 1 or 2 months it will be fixed soon.
By the way to answer another question, The frontcam from this mobile is only for videocalls.
For all the ones who bought the mobile and is locked, Reed this from nokia its quite interresting. The ebays and others sellers say you can unlock it in a nokia sellpoint. Nokia told me anotherthing. Check this out:
"The one who locks the mobile is the one that alows it to be unlocked.
So, I invite you to contact the operator
(3italia), So you can get you unlock key and so they tell you how to du to unlock it".

Hi, I just got this phone from 3 in the UK, and the first I had sometime switched off and on, so I went back to CPW and the one I have as an exchange also do the same... this is only when I change a setting (like from meeting to general mode). It doesn't really bother me as I don't use this function a lot, but I don't want to have more problems. Do you think I should get another phone again? Do all the 6280 have this problem or not?

i conpare the specifications of these pics with mobile pic. from other sites
totally the specifications r different specially its horizontal and vertical resolution (dpi) is totally different

Voda UK say they will have this phone for upgrades / direct sales from midday tomorrow (Monday) - the question is - having waited since last June for this phone to arrive, do I now wait for the Samsung Z540 (5th April) or the BenQ-S EF81 which they denny any knowledge of?!

Hey guys - my apologies, yep you can get it outright on 3 on a reduced price but this is because the phone is locked onto the three network which means you'll be injecting them with money anyhow...

i have just signed up on 3 to a $69 cap and i get the 6280 for $14 a month on top of that or i could of brought it outright on prepaid for $459 but would have to use 3 prepaid in it.

Fred this information is right look on the 3 website. This fone is $14/month on any cap(PLAN), and its $450 pre-paid!

There's no way that you can get this phone outright in Australia. The $450 means you have to pay $450 in additional to a plan which has a truncated contract term and better call rates than the regular $14 ones.
