Just got my 6280 can't wait for it to finish charging. First impressions very good though.

C´mom what f*** is this cel? It is perfect speakin´ ´bout features there´s bluetooth,there´s everythin´ that we need to have a nice cel and with the nokia quality we are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is what im talking abt.plus, u guys cant compare nokia 6280 wif N-SERIES 70 or 80 bcoz the Operating System(OS) and user-interface are totally different. 6280 using S40 series. i think the main purpose of the phone is to do normal stuf and cant do like installing software such as 6680 or any S70 S80 OS. please note..
im a die hard fans of nokia too, but currently there are doing so bad. i agree.. but i found out the reason Y nokia made so much different models! different model/series for different ppl. if u prefer more powerful and "ALL-IN-ONE" phone, u just use the S70,S80 OS...and dont compare wif 6280.i think nokia just upgrading the phone likes 6230 to 6280.bcoz they are in the same operating system. if u like N70/80 OS or UI. just go on buy it, dont compare wif lower levels' phone. mayb business-man do prefer to buy 6280 rather than other big gaint N-Series.
conclusion, except other symbian 70,80..or even 90.. i think in Symbian40, 6280 is the best right now. they best they did currently. that is my view, show me yr view please.... ^^

Gess wat i did, altho i wntd the 6280 so bad and w8d for it for abso ages, ma upgrade was due 4months ago and so i thought id w8 n w8, but wat d hell, nokia r takin d livin piss, its not lyk i cnt liv widout it, n yes it luks a gr8 phone...but i had only 200 mins on ma current contract coz i needed more i thought id upgrade to 500 mins and i jus ordered ma D600 for an upgrade, its a brill phone...and samsungs are more into the slider phones and they have no probs guarunteed, but Nokia are still new to the slide, they still goin thru teething probs as we all can see......anywys ive got ma phone, all u guys can sit and wait for the 6280... i dnt get wat all the stress is all bout...its a phone end of the day...you all make it sound as tho ur gnna worship the damn thing...for god sake....!!! But gud luck u all wid getting d phone, dnt get me wrong its a brill phone tho...!!!

However i am pissed off that you can't get hold of the Nokia N80 as this looks like an amazing phone compared to the Nokia 6280 or the N70. Check it out at http://www.nokia.com/nseries/index.html
look at the spec on the N80 it kicks the arse out of the 6280 and the N70! However still loving the 6280

The Nokia 6280 is an awesome phone, i got it as a free upgrade from 3 with no hassle. Next day delivery cost me NOTHING. Also 12 month contract with first 3 months half price. People always slag off 3 but ive had no problems with them. Awesome phone, camera is brilliant, video quality is amazing and you can change the resolution.Only bad point's ive noticed is the more pics you take the slower it takes to open the pics on the memory card, which could be interesting if you can put a 2gig card in it as its only got a 64mb card in it now!Also i dont like the volume button it doensn't feel very sturdy and the screen gets dust under it after no time at all.Overall i think its a brillian phone tho.

Since u made a comparison of 6280 and N70, i would like to know which of the 2 phones had a better picture quality in terms of camera and Video.

Spoke to 02 on friday and the 6280 wont be released with them till mid march, also called vodafone and they say 1st march, im so glad i opted for the 6270 as reading the reviews so far the 6280 is not performing too good and i have no issues at all with the 6270 which has tiny differances to the 6280 but nothing that bothers me.

The video quality is not as good as the N70 because it records in mpeg4 format ang the 6280 in 3gp format.

I all. I've had this phone for a week so far. its probably the most unreliable phone i have ever owned.
although the features are very good, and the series 40 is easy to use - my phone seems to be restarting itslef whenver it feels like it! around 3-5 times a day and beleive me its very annoying.
Does anyone know where i can get a firmware update? currently running V3.36

This phone is available now but only on 3. How hard is that to understand? Vodafone are really annoying. Was speaking to one of there guys and i asked him to give me a rough estimation of when it will be released, was kinda like the guy from little britain getting an answer off him! " computer says nooooooo" grrrrrrr

by the way.... this phone is awesome... didn't you recongnize the video resolution ??? it's a vga video (i thaught it was a mistake on gsmarena !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is magnificant...i still didn't see any phone with this resolution... even the digital sony cybershot have got vga resolution !!!

Well, I compared side to side the Nokia 6280 and N70 ... and I decided to go with the N70!
The slide on the 6280 was disappointing, and there are a lot more features on the N70.
Anyone agree?

it is the worst phone that nokia has ever come up with till date iam a die hard nokia fan but haven't seen such a filthy h/s with so many software issues people dont buy this handset for gods sake.............
