i got mine today.some 3g networks have special contract with nokia to distribute 6280 1 month earlier than other shops. and btw video recording goes up to 640x480 in 15 fps...and that isnt in its specifications...weird...the video looks really great when transfered to computer. specially full screen...really great phone...only thing mine is locked to drei.at network...and i dont know is it even possible to unlock this phone...

why have pass more than 6 months since the 6280 was present.. and still is not in shops?? have any problem? will be that with all phone models?

Well Golfer, be careful with such confidence about getting your 6280 next week. As you put it, you 'should' have it then, but then it 'should' have been available long before now.
The Link have been showing it as 'In store now' for weeks, but to no avail.
The truth is that this phone has not yet been seen as available in the UK, apart from those with inside info it cannot be found. One day Nokia might actually release it...

well i am a bit confused, because in the magazine Thephonehouse in oficial magazine said that Nokia N80 will be available in february.. so is an error?
with the N 80 can use his wifi and use the mobil as as bridge to have internet in the laptop computer? or only with the wifi of the phone can look the internet in the mobil?
and what characteristc have the N100?

bro i work with nokia UK head quaters. I have all the latest nokia release information and technical details. I am one of their project managers and work on confidential information. The n80 is in the testing phase and is being tested in Korea and Japan and also in the usa. We anticipate the release date whould be 5th march , but it might change if there is bugs in the software. What other information do u want to know. I will also say that you should wait for 4th quater of 2006 as there will be the best phone nokia ever it will be the N series 100. It will be the best phone everto be made, watch this space

As i have read you are the first who have get the Nokia 6280...so you have privilege inform about nokia phones? so do you know about other phones of nokia? do you know when will be available the Nokia N80?
because i have heard in the end of January.. in other place i have heard in february.. in other web i have read that will be in March..
so Aksahay as you say you are the first who have the 6280, do you know about N80?

the truth is that none of u guys have got the phone. the phone is not even out yet.
I am the only person who gets the phone first in the whole country. So i dont know what you guys are chatting about. The phone is heavy!!!!!!!! i will have it first so i will post a review in january. So stop telling lyies and stop being a bluffmaster.

In Poland it will cost about 450-460 euro. Nokia says it will be after Christmas or after New Year (surely not before Christmas) :(

friends... according to nokia offical FAQ ; 6280 can play mp3,aac,etc with sterio... by the way 6280 has visual radio which can see radio stations information like rds... merry x-mas

So what's the deal with this thing? I was considering the 6270 but according to the Nokia site, this thing doesn't play mp3/mpeg and is missing some of the other features that the 6270 has.
Can anybody confirm this (ie. mp3 player and external stereo speakers) versus the 6280? What are the major differences? I'm just trying to decide if I want this one...also, does the 6270 let you capture video? The websites seem unclear on a few things between these two models and I don't know if Nokia actually missed some things with the 6280, or if the sites are just omitting some info/specs. Merry X-mas!

hi just been in the superstore in sheffield an you can only get this mobile if your upgrading you contract,the phone looks superb with a large screen an the video quality was 1st class

1 of my biggest concerns is the battery life whilst listening to MP3's. When any of you get this phone please post how good the battery is.
This phone has he best Votes ive seen, i know its good, but the votes show it to be the best phone on the site, or at least very close to the top.

i live in montreal..but my friend who lives in austria..had been informed that "3" will have it only after christmas but before jan...which doesnt make any sense to me, but thats what u get when QA doesn't do their job right..

I got one today as my dad's best friend imports every single mobile phone into Ireland so I got it through him. Its slick!!!!! He said it is going to be released friday (23rd Dec).
