I am afraid that you are completely wrong. The Nokia 6280 is available from "3" network stores on upgrade for existing customers as of a few days before Christmas. New customers can't get it until January, but the handset is available to existing customers of 3.

Look the fact is that the phone is not available in the uk yet. it will first come on 3 network and then vodafone and then 02 orange, t-mobile will be the last as always.Who eva says thatthey have got the phone from a authorised uk distrubutor is talking nonsense. the phone will come out in jan. so lets not discuss this issue anymore. Does anyone want any info on the nokia n80. cos i am testing it at the moment. i am looking at the software. It will be using symbian software.

No he means that anyone can buy it but only on the 3 network which has exclusivity on this phone for a month and then it will be available on other networks such as Orange. Right?

slackspace, You said that some companies have contract with Nokia to distribute this phone 1 month before they are available in other shops. You mean that I will not be able to buy this phone for 1 month more even in Authorized Nokia shop?

ok here you go. i just sent you few pics of 6280 made with my 6630 an few made with 6280.
video is too large. 7 sec = 2 MB at 640x480 :(
pics arent that good because its middle of night here. i can shot more tummorow on day light...i cant post pics here so im sending them to you.if anyone else dont believe me, than you send them thouse pics. i dont have time for that...

or you could just go to the www.drei.at (it is austria 3g mobile company)and look for 3g phones offer.... i got it from there...

So officially its now available on 3 in the UK. So when will it be released on Orange? I reeeeeeaaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyyy want this phone, it was meant to be out before xmas but it wasn't and now I have to wait another month for it to come out on Orange. Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
