there is no such thing as symbian 40 phone. so, it does not have an operating system that will enable you exhibitions as symbian. this phones is already out, as nokia says. check on their site. it not 'coming soon' anymore!

A nokia dealer here (portugal), told me today that they don't know if this phone is out this year, but it's possible.

Sitel.nl tells me that the nokia 6280 will be launched next tuesday or wednesday in the Netherlands.... FINALLY!!

I checked with sitel.nl. they expect to deliver the phone somewhere next week. So it's not "out now" yet in the Netherlands

Im jst clearin tings up her: The release date is now mid December. It wieghs 115g, has a 2mp camera and looks absolutly wonderful - especialy in Black.

Anyway it does have vga recording, 15fps while cif recording is 30fps.

well guys, i have seen in a nother forum that its cam can take video clips with a resolution of 480x640 (vga resolution) is it realy right? this would be an awsome phone

black for me!!!! PS. go to www.aol.co.uk then do a search for nokia 6280 but click images, so your doing a search for 6280 pictures. There are some real cool shots of the phone switched on, showing the user interface,taking video footage!!!! ETC... there are hundreds including the normal catalouge images so just click next till you find one you like!

The weight has to do with or without the Battery! 104 is without the battery en 115 with battery

Actually I think nokia forum are the ones who've got it wrong. Nokia's official web site list the phone as weighing 115 grams. Yeah crap I know.
