hey mac! u just have to check on your network mode if it is set to dual /umts mode; operator selection: automatic; of course loc must be under 3g coverage area; ur sim must be provided w/ video call service(contact ur network provider); also both parties shoul meet above details; :)

hi guys, i have the same problem like hellhound... i don't have anymore free phone memory.. i have nothing in the phone memory, but the phone is "telling me" that 7 mb are used... how can i resolve this... please help... i'm getting started nervous... thanks...

i have had this phone for 3 years and i havn't encountered any problem on this yet.. for others who experienced no signel, etc, pls. do basic troubleshooting first.. this is one cool phone that i wud not trade to any other new phones.. :)

how can i use video calling..i just bought my new 6280 mobile..and i still dont know how can i use video call..im from hognkong at the moment..do i have the right sim to used video call or do i have to register my fone please help!!

hi guys.i'm having problems with the phone memory.i transferred an mp3 from another phone.after receiving the file i moved it to my sd card.then transferred another song. and my phone restarted. i know its because of the phone memory is very low. but i already moved or deleted some files that are not needed.is there a way to change the default storage to memory card?and to flash the memory?the phone does not ask me where to put the file.it always goes straight to the phone memory.PLEASE HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM!!!!i don't want to sell this phone.THANKS IN ADVANCE!

ok basically this fon has a gud camera and nice screen but sadly the software and the battery r not so gud afterall. havin dis fon for bout 1yr nw and hav repaired it bout 4 times! (mostly de ribbon of de slider and the software). sound is considerably ok...not bad. battery has to be charged at least twice a day if u're gonna listen to music and answer calls..

I got a prepaid 6280 nokia on optus 3g ,i live in the country and swicthed from cdma.the only prob is my son lost my 3g sim that came with the phone, so optus told me to just buy another one,the only thing is you can't buy 3g sim cards on prepaid yet ,i need the coverage as it is a work phone and with a normal sim card in it my signal is poor.If anyone can help please email me at jorrpps@bigpond.com it will be worth your while thanks

Yes the battery life is not good. If you use it in some random mode. You will must lose your battery. I used this phone since 2 years. After one year i had to change the battery. But the screen is just like the new one. It's still great. And the photo taken by it can be compared to any nokia 2 mp camera phone. It has no problem. Oh, the slider jammed? Clean the metal stick of the back side of the slider. It'll be ok. Not so bad that some one expressed. It has one problem that i think that it has on symbian os system. Good luck everyone. When I bought this phone it worked really well.The Camera is very excellent and when pics are printed its still good quality. Only problem was a scratchy sound on the erarpiece sometimes when I makde a call or received a call.I have it now for 14 months and the thing will not even switch on.First is starte to swtich of by itself. The the slider started to jam. Then the screen backlight never came on. Then the screen got inverted and it looked as if I was looking in a mirror as everything was upside down. Now it will not come on at all. I would say stay away from this phone. Oh and the battery life just got worse after a few months. I had to charge it everyday. I had a SONY ERRICSON K700i that I used for 2 years and had no issues with. Infact all my SONY ERRICSONS I had and have work well. I am going back to SONY ERRICSON. Bottom line its that THIS PHONE IS TROUBLESOME AFTER A FEW MONTHS and afte the warranty it over it DIES COMPLETELY.

Very bad phone. Loosing network, some messages like "sim card registration failed", changed hybrid... what can I say? Bad reputation for Nokia...

there is nothing to do about the backlight problem. For the camera problem go to camera settings and enter to image preview. Set that manually to your choice. It will be ok. Good luck.

This was my worst fone ever.. I was so in love wit this phone when suddenly the keypad button stopped wrking.. i paid like 40 bucks and gt it fixed.. then abt 2 wks later it stopped wrking again.. Was so pissed.. then finally the worst problem came.. The camera spoilt.. Each time i on my camera, the whole phone shuts off.. A few of my frens oso had prob wit this fone.. Trust me, dun bother wit this junk.. Get a betta fone.. Even though it will wrk perfectly well iniially, as time passes problems arise..

it wont support .sis as it is not symbian ... get the e65 if you want a .sis compatible
