Phone is alright for free I guess, buttons to small for the screen size, and the camera could be better for this sort of phone. But what can I say I got it for free anyway. SPUD

Very good phone, too bad it is made of cheap plastic, slider is ok, very loud earphone, average camera. Cannot select and send many objects by bluetooth, must do it one by one. I have one for nine months and it feels like new.

I've had this phone for nearly a year now and it's a good phone. Nice sound quality, good music and video playback, and very easy to use. It slides open and closed like a dream which I thought would maybe break after a while. The internet goes much quicker when using a 3G SIM card, i've yet to make a video call though.
The only things I don't like about this phone is the fact that the screen gets dust on it under the front screen cover, also the camera isn't all that good in darker situations, and for some reason, the buttons on the front to the right (right soft key and end call key) don't seem to light up anymore. The battery life could be longer, but i'm happy with it. Overall it's responsive and not bad to use for a non-smartphone.

I'm very concerned about the functionality of this phone. It doesnt receive mms correctly, the speaker is a problem sometimes.

This is weird...
Actually, this phone was already "disapear"
months ago, almost every store and major distribution point had already stop selling 6280. I remembered, i called many stores but all they could said was they already had no 6280 anymore, only 6288 available.
But then, just last week, suddenly 6280 appeared in one newspaper ad. Being curious, i asked one major phone distribution co in my country, and they said it's true, 6280 can be found in shop again now.
so strange...
I am just so curious, are they just cleaning up all their last 6280s stock, or Nokia really reproduce again 6280, with newer firmware and improvements for sure... Maybe they were so ashamed with these errors as the former 6230, 62301 known as pioneer in it's class. ( as i heard from one shop owner here)
I am really really curious... cos if Nokia really want to reduce on 6280 errors, it is so great... as this phone looks nicer than 6288 and more cheaper.
anyone who bought the new 6280 recently could give me a little bit review... :)

This phone is rubbish i hate it and i cant get a new one till next year cuz i only got it afew months ago i have dropped it maybe twice and they havn't been bad ones. It switches off by itself when i try to switch it on it doesnt it wont let me read my messages it stops playing music half way through it says sim card invalied when it is clearly not do not get this phone it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo annoying.

the G icon jus means you are either getting 3g singal dont worry u dont ned to surf the net to get it .

I had this cellphone for 3 monthly only. I am getting the G icon on the top of the screen always but i am not browsing any site. I read the manual and it tells there that if you are getting the G icon that means that you are using the GPRS. My second problem is the profile always went back to the default settings everytime i turn it off and on. And the pictures in the memory got corrupted. And when i am checking the time when my friend sent me a message it won't show the right time in message details. I am very upset.

I have had a 6280 for about a month now and think it's great, really easy to use and have not experienced any of the problems previous users have stated. 10/10 has far as I'm concerned.

i would NEVER EVER get a 6280 ever again i'm on my 5th and my bf is on he's 4th, as all they do is freeze, blackout, end in a middle of a call,sound like your under water,and the battery life is even worse. you can charge it up all night and then it will die after 1 call.Even when you send it to be fixed they still are rubbish and all the same things still happen on them.I've never had such a bad phone as this, i know of lots of people who have the same problems as i have. Dont bother and waste your money thats all i'll say because they are not worth it.

To all of u who happened had experience using both 6280 and 6288, please please help me to decide which one is better.
Frankly speaking, 6288 is equipped with more powerfull battery Lion 1100mh, but somehow... i am more comfortable with 6280 appearance. The combination of silver and black in 6280 looks more appealing than in 6288 black. The joystick,the hearing hole in the top of the phone, the keypad in 6280 looks more nice to me.
Guys, please tell me what to choose, as many said 6288 is better as it has many improvement from the original 6280. Can u give me the comparison review from sliding mechanism, audio/sound, 2mpx cam, the software, and so on...
I am so afraid, just because of my shallowness could lead me into feeling regret in the end,

it is so fast in working but it does not have the symbian operating system & it's camera is bad sometimes in night can anyone help! Thanks..
