the 6280 is the worst phone that nokia has ever made, i have had put mine in for repairs three times and had to have it replaced and it still plays up. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!

pros: fantastic looks, great functionality, intuitive nokia menu structure, great connectivity options
cons: buggy as hell and unstable (untill you get the software/firmware flashed at your dealer), breakable (mine has been in twice for broken speeker and LCD), continual little problems.
i love the look of this phone, but its in so often for repairs that i hardly ever get to use it!

I had problems wint nokia's 6280,s camera. The pictures taken indoors are horrible, all blurry... you can hardly distinguish the faces. I's been quite a shock to discover that a 2 Mp camera can do worse pictures than a 1.3 one.

thanks now that i know i think that they should have made it usable for pics, i mean, its on there anyway, so why not use its full potential

and if your 6280 always restarts, then bring it back to your dealer and with your warranty, either request to replace it or have them fix it.

for the previous posts...
i can tell why you're having a hard time connecting a USB cable, because it's located at the bottom of the phone and not at the back as you were saying...
and for the other guy, i mean Man, don't you read your manual that the front camera of the 6280 is exclusive only for video calls..
I can't believe people buy a phone not knowing what their buying, then just post a comment on how silly their phone was.
Before you buy a new phone, make sure that it has every features you wanted..

my fone doesnt work well either, picture texts dont work and everything is in UK settings, anyone else havigns trouble with that and i got a usb wire with the fone but it doesn't fit on the bak of the phone

I've had my 6280 not 6 months yet and I've already accumulated a lot of problems. It randomly turns itself off and back on again, more so when I receive messages or playing music. It has crashed my laptop several times when I've gone to connect them via USB. I tried connecting my sisters phone as hers is the same and it worked absolutely fine, strange~ Occasionally when I pick up the phone it will unlock and lock the key pad several times, completely baffled me. Putting the problems aside, I do really like this phone. I just got to find time to get it repaired~ Anybody else having similar problems?

yeah the battery life on mine is not that great. but overall i really like the phone.

The battery life sux so does the voice dialling. We upgraded to this phone (2 Handsets) because the battery life of our previous (2 handsets) was getting bad after about 1 1/2 years of use. However to our surprise the new battery of this phone is still not as long lasting as the used battery of our 6230's.
I believe that Nokia has fooled us into believing that 6280 has voice dialling, because unlike the 6230's where you could record the contacts name in your own voice, the 6280 actually has built in computerised voice for the contacts. Well, you ask for Mr. A and it would dial Mr. K, its pathetic

i have had the phonr for one year. the battery goes down very quickly and most days i have no life in it by the evening

it may not have the best camera for a phone but hey, who needs a camera for a phone when you got a Cannon Ixus 60 as a standard digicam...

it's a good phone... I stay away from N-series because in my opinion Series-40 phones are more robust and stable than Series-60 phones of Nokia...
It's not buggy and until now, i haven't experienced any hang-ups with this phone...
expecially if you got the new firmware (v 5.92)

with the 5.92 fw, 6280 works better than before (with 3.06)?or the problems listed below goes on with it too?
