This is a good phone, it does crash occaionally however, i have a 6233 aswell and that crashes more. It's a nokia thing..
Very good for still photos, video quality's awesome. Expandable memory so can't complain!
Simple to use, difference with 6233 is the 6280 has a camera at front for video calling - 6233 u need2 buy a seperate attachment for video calling, however, 6233 speakers are better..they're awesome.
Good easy to use phone.

this is the greatest phone I ever had. the battery is great, display also great.. I can't think of anything that I don't like.

The latest firmware version is 5.92 from Nokia Centre. Free upgrade if you still have warranty.

crap phone the camera stopped working on after 2 months and the screensaver didnt save more problems than what its worth. i wouldnt recommend this phone to any1

pls dont buy this phone!!!is a disgusting phone when u lyk 2 listen mp3 it turns off the power n the signals always go!a friendly reminder

the 6280 looks a good mobile but Nokia should have not released this mobile first on the "3" network its unlockable an full of bugs an the screens break easily ,i want one on O2 but theres not many about,i will keep trying an hope Nokia check there phones out fully before they release there mobiles next time

Well i was just wondering what this phones like in general as i might be getting it for my birthday. It comes accross as very good as it has blutooth e.t.c but i just wanted to know if it's good from a person who already has this phone. Please right back.

6280 doesn't use realplayer supporting .rm files. And sad to say, Gma and Cnn uses .rm, though i don't know what does abscbn uses. and u can't d/l and install it in ur phone! realplayer is usually installed in symbian phones

I have a phone it is a nice one
about voice command
just presss volume(-) for a while
and say ur tag
that is all
note that the mobile detects name without need to store ur voice to each contact just press the key and say the name and it will detect the name directly

I have bought this phone on May 2006... The phone function well but I have face 2 problems... 1. Camera is on stand by 2. Black scrren whenever I run a video file, listenning songs . can anyone give me any solution

my nokia 6280 is equally bad as alot of the others listed on here. it constantly crashed with a black screen. it crashed when on the phone to people and listening to music. i have been told it was a problem with software but i had the latest software installed but this did not seem to affect the performance of the phone. i would sincerley recommend that you do not purchase the nokia 6280 as you will be very dissapointed, this is strange because i have found that all the other nokia's i have had have been good.

I own myself a Nokia 6280. However I am quite surprised to find that I couldt activate any "Flight" mode.
Does someone know how to manually add the "Flight" profile?
