hello everyone!!! my phone is also a nokia 6280 and a globe pre-paid subscriber from the philippines. plsssss, i need ur help. When i entered in the my globe website using my fone, i cannot video stream the GMA and CNN channels.I can only stream the ABSCBN channel. Are there anyone of you here who are also globe prepaid users and are experiencing same problem as mine? what did you do to remedy the situation? can u all browse the 3 free channels namely cnn, gma and abscbn??

ok ive had this phone ner 7months..its my 2nd one as the other one keeped stoping.. the 2nd one played up the same..so now it sits by my computer OFF.. nokia made a bad phone this time.... but the stuff it has on it is cool....

helo ... I want to checkout why the spec shown that phone memory got 6mb... but why mine one got 850kb free even I deleted most of the files in phone memory... but still don know y got 850kb ... who can tell me wat is happened to this hp ...or anyone know how to do format on this hp ? reply asap thanks

I like this phone but lately I noticed that it has problem, it keeps on asking the restriction code which I don't have, to put it back, I just turn it off & on again.

Hi I've got this phone from 3 Australia. At the start it had heaps of bugs, but after getting the free latest software update the phone is a lot better. After getting a 1GB card it now rocks my socks

well i have 6280 and quiet happy to have it becuse its better than Sonyerricson K750i and Samsung D600 besides its problems it has everything a phone needs and its coool deign is wickeddd....its 1 of the true best around....the D600 has its problems and K750i isnt exactly perfect either ....so that leads u to this phone ..the perfect 1 out of the 3 ....

Purchased this phone about 6 months ago and it has spent more time in the nokia repair shop than in my hand. This is a great phone however there are a lot of faults that get worse with time. Nokia have admitted the problems with the model but are not very willing to help fix them.

Both me and my partner have had a Nokia 6280 for about 5 months now. The first month, i quite liked the phone, the second month, i started to notice things going wrong with it. This phone does not respond well to wear and tear as opposed to other models. Definately problems with the dictionary not remembering things. I know there is a software upgrade available, however, this is only from a Nokia Customer Care centre and last time i went into the Brisbane store with a previous phone, it took 3 months to return the phone and all they had to do was replace the screen. When they did return it, the phone was not even fixed... thats Nokia service for you!! Back to the 6280.. i would say that it is good as a disposable phone, best advice is.. look for another model - this one is not worth the rubbish you have to go through to make it work.

my 6280 died on new years eve for no reson. when i turn it on, Nokia appears on a white back and then nothing happens. does someone knows what's wrong with it.?

i got a nokia 6280 from the 3 network its rubbish i can't charge it i have to stay with it for five minutes+ just twisting and tuning the contacts to make it charge and constantly it goes blank i also lose my connection regulary and to add to all that it locked its self up for no reason like i was a thief to my own phone...dont get one especially not from 3. p.s. it also jumps from full battery to extremely low battery and switches off i have had it constantly fixed but it still dont work.

very poor phone!
always been a nokia user, since they brought out the 2110.
My 6280 is rubbish, it has been sitting with nokia for a month now, their after sales service is a complete shambles. I had my phone for 3 weeks before the softkeys stopped working, I've asked nokia to back up all my info before they reset the phone but they refuse saying I should've done it, never mind the fact that I couldn't because the soft keys weren't working. I had problems with the bluetooth and the predictive text is pre historic, it doesn't remember new words, u have to manually enter them every time..............DO NOT GET A NOKIA!!

polita - yes you can use a 2gb memory card
and to everyone who has a software problem and don't have the latest firmware version - update it!
