Can someone please help me...
How do you transfer files straight to your memory card, while receiving via bluetooth?
or at least how to make your memory card your default receiving folder, for file transfer, (bluetooth or Infrared)?
Please help me on this one...

hey guys.. i've benn using nokia 6280 for 6 months... it is the best and smart looking phone i ever had so far... but i really have no idea where to get software that can support real players and other programs.. so if any of u guys got idea where to get it please do email me... thanks..!

I've had this phone 8 days after returning the first one, however nothing but a problem with dead pixels with the first camera. This phone I have now has a rattling slide, & the backlight switches off after 10 seconds even whilst playing games, leading to death by darkness in games. I searched everywhere for backlight timer options which BTW does not exist under firmware 3.81. However I am afraid firmware 5 still did not fix this option. To be honest I like my LG U8360 better. but I will ride this one for a few months & be aware there are many many bad reviews & very little good reviews from users who had the phone for three months or more. So if anyone wants to know.. measure up the reviews. Generally my phone works fine after 8 days. LOL

hi i got this phone for about 5 days and it awesome i love it..its smart looking and if u want u can extnd its memory upto 2 gb gr8 phone for me a status smbol for sure...just love it..

antenna, how about your messages?
Nokia 6280 shares its phone memory to contacts and messages. even if you restore your phone to factory settings, your messages/contacts will not be erased. check your messages/contacts (if you have so much of these) if they eat so much of your memory. maybe you can delete some of them, or move them to the memory card.

Jessica, when you're on the main menu, press Options -> Main Menu View -> Grid or Grid with labels.
This was my phone months ago (had it for only 3 weeks), and I'd say it sucks (replaced mine with an SE W700). Better take care of the sliding mechanism, and watch out for the signal coverage.

go update your firmware

to change the look of your menu
you go to the menu
then push left softkey
then you should have something like main menu view you go in it
there you will have options like
list, net, net with..,tabs
then just choose

i owned this fone for exactly 4 days. i had 2 units of 6280.. the 1st one had a defect on ts volume, then the second unit had a problem wit on and off thingy! not advisable.. [: maybe n70's better.(:

Great to look at, a pain to use sums up this phone nicely. It would be top-class if it didn't randomly switch off while browsing the Net or sending messages, didn't require items to be deleted in order to send a multimedia message, had a battery that lasted longer than a snowball in the desert, didn't flash up "Phone restricted" messages for no reason etc etc etc

Currently i have the Nokia 6280(this fone).My menu comes out as like you hab 2 scroll down n so on...how to make the menu like all pictures?Like other phones are all picture menu in like a box...like 3 icons in a row in the form of pictures???how to make that?If you do not understand click pictures than more pictures.Than under "Photos of the display" the second row,I want my menu to be like the second pic frm the left,but now mine is the 3rd pic frm the left.How to make it?

Its a gr8 phone,it does hav a small built in memory but u can upgrade ur mini sd, it can handle mini sd' of up to 2gb, and its a better phone than the n70, and more cheaper too. phillippines

Hi, i am a new guy here in this forum and i hope you will help for me.
I downloaded some themes, change from one to other in my phone,
but after 3 weeks i could not change them because there was no free memory in my phone (not in memory card). I have no games, java aplications... I can see that there are used ~200kb, but phone is showing for me that there are free space only ~150kb, while there should be ~6mb.
I tried reseting factory setings (didn't help), switching phone off and on (didn't help), removing battery (didn't help). What should i do? When i connecting my phone with usb cable and choosing properties the pc is showin ~7mb used, ~150kb free. I cannot find where i could erase this used space of my phone memory. Please help me.
