Had lots of problems with this phone, initially told it needed hardware upgrade then it was down to condensation. battery sometimes lasts as much as a day! really disappointed. always used nokia in the past, but this has been terrible.....

Even their high end model such as N73, 8800. There are still a lot problem! The problem should not related wiht cheap labour! The problem is come from product life too short and poor programming technique!
Nokia always sale their product even they not being matrue! If that function of the phone have not been well development, they can just cut it off! However, they still let them come with the phone!

I am using SD Kingston and Transcend 2 GB Mini SD on 6280 without any problem! However, you should ensure your firmware of 6280 should be 5.92; otherwise computer cannot recognize your phone as an USB drive when the phone connect to computer by using USB cable in Data Storage Mode! Connection between computer and the phone in Default mode through PC suite still work even you use earlier firmware! Only you want your phone as a USB drive; then, you need to upgrade the firmware to 5.92! Moreover, the specification of the memory size of 6280 on the web site has already changed from 1 GB to 2 GB!

This is a all round nice phone to use. It might be just me getting a bad one out of a batch. But I have never been back to the shop so many times for any of the Nokia models. The battery didn`t lasted long. Even after getting it changed. With the lightest of taps, I found it marked and cracked so easyily (After sliding it up. Just behind the on/off button). And within a month I was having the sliding mechanism fixed.

for all of you having problems with the 6280, go to the nearest nokia service center and have them upgrade your firmware to v5.92
I had mine upgraded and no more "switch off problems" and internal memory problems

i have had the nokia 6280 4 sometime this is the third unit and it suck i have no signal everything else is great cam is tops 4 a 2.0 but signal sucks i have try tmobile and cingular same thing. today i got the n 71 and that was a 500.00 mistake love the unit but no signal even nokia,s people could not help. know i am looking 4 a real phone

hello i just read about some opinions of user, and i read that this phone cannot used its front camera in taking a picture. is that true? anyways i'd rather to buy nokia 6270 than this, if the front camera is for video calls only. so the front camera is useless in the people which is not famillar in video calls. i have a question, is nokia 6270 highly recommendable? please reply... thanks a million!

I bought this phone just 3 months ago. There is something wrong with the camera. Once in a while, when I take a photo, it automatically saves it and then it says "unable to open the file" and then its a white screen. This happens when every 2 or 3 photos are taken. Can someone tell me what's wrong?

Hi could anyone help me regarding tis hp model .. now i'm using 1gb mini-sd card & so far tis phone does not jammed while brouse or on.off music player !! i just like to know does anyone out-there ever use 2gb mini-sd , using tis hp N6280 ! 4 me i feel that 1gb memory size not enough to save the mp3 song .. can anyone help me ...
