I think that the phone is great and the features are outstanding but there are a few disappointments- the phone is a bit lose abd sometimes switches off whenever it wants to.
overall i give the phone a 96% rating. Thanks

nope..the front camera can only be used when u r using the 3g video service...cant use to take photos..

Just bought the phone from the local dealer in New York! Honestly, this phone is above any expectations!
AND SOMEONE DARES TO COMPARE IT TO GIRLISH SAMSUNG SLIDERS???!!!
PROS:
-The size is just perfect (huge, mature, Man's phone!, followed by superb keypad)
-The functionality is Superb!
-The call clarity is fantastic!
-The screen is fantastic!
-Camera takes superb pics for its very small sensor (better pics bytheway than over-priced garbage Carl Zeiss in N90)
I don't like Nokia's 6101/6102/6103/6125/6133 Series.
Comparing to 6270/6280 those phones look more sissy and girlish (Like Samsung) and of worser quality , due to its slimness.
NOKIA NEEDS MORE 6280 like PHONES!!!
DON'T GIVE UP NOKIA!
I know the Slim Fashion is like a stupid infection, but I'm sure you will fight it!

Problem of 6280 with 5.92 firmware upgrade:
Left and right key do not function in Rally 3D game. The problem also happens in some of Java games.
Some of Java games cannot run in 5.92 firmware such as Microsoft’s Age of Empires 2.
Sas game occur error easily in 5.92 firmware.
When Music Player playing song in background, executing any Java applet (For example: calculator) will stop the music. This was not happened in 3.81 firmware.
When I want to find out Chinese explanation from an english word by using dictionary and the phone language is changed to Simplified Chinese (简体中文), dictionary cannot display Simplified Chinese (简体中文). Just only Traditional Chinese (繁體中文) can be shown. This problem has been found in previous firmware. This problem is also found in 6270.
In using dictionary to check English explanation from a Chinese Word, wrong English explanation, wrong Chinese prediction phrases and wrong display language come out when Simplified Chinese (简体中文) was employed as the writing language. However, the problem do not happened when the writing language is Traditional Chinese (繁體中文). This problem has also been found in previous firmware. This problem is also found in 6270.
When using dictionary, I holding # button should let people to change writing language. After upgrade to 5.91, this function is disappeared.
Scale down the image to a poor resolution (16 x 32801) when composing MMS even the image below 300 kB.
MIDI file still cannot be sent by using MMS even I buy a greetings GIF with a midi file from our phone service provider. Finally, I find that GIF will change to a poor image and no sound with the image when composing MMS message! Most of phone service provider will provide mp3 or midi as a background music for greeting gif file! For 6280, most of MMS function (image and audio) was unable to use . However, the other mobile phone manufactures do not prohibit sending MIDI file. I think people will not buy Nokia phone if they use MMS frequently.
A2DP mode cannot be activated in using media player; the Bluetooth stereo can be used in music player only! Therefore, the video cannot enjoy the stereo by using A2DP headphone directly.
The stereo Bluetooth headphone with AVRCP profile is not compatible with 6280 music player. After using bluetooth with AVRCP profile, the song cannot play continually. Music player will play song as the sequence 1, 3, 5, 7, 9… or 2, 4, 6, 8, 10…
The phone locks up easily when playing movies after I upgrade to 5.92 firmware!
The WMA format is not supported by 6280 even I upgrade to 5.92 firmware.

you can adjust the volume of the Music player by adjusting the equalizer to its maximum..the sound will still be good...because the speaker has high quality.

someone asked which phone would be best n0 or 6280 id buy n70 got 6280 2 weeks ago been to repair still broke its a common fault with this make it freezes turns off its self and resets everything

for some reason my nokia wont let me apply theme it says not enough memory and it won't allow me to hold more then 40 sms, does anymore know what could be the problem

i was using it for about 3 months now..and i find it great..i use my installer and connector to get the photos and videos from my phone to the computer...and i can edit it on the computer, and with the software included on the cd...i can convert 3gp format of videos to any other formats...and music as well...i also upgraded my external memory to 1 Gb..really depends on how u use it..its cooL..u can adjust the resolution of videos and camera...though i cant find an antivirus for it..but good thing..i asked a technician and told me that no virus can enter this phone because it is not supported..Cool..^_^

yesterday i bought a 1gb memo card kingston, and it was good, "3,+++" as in (3k+++)pictures can be used (1600x1200), then 1 and half hour of vga video, gooooooooodddddddd..... ei can someone tell me,how to update my fUking firm ware? How to update to 05.92v? mine is 03.81v and it restarts or should i say it crushes when i play my music player "sumtimes" or when i playback my videos... Who among u guys have the latest 05.92v, is it good or not? and where did u get it? tnx

My 6280 also had that glitch till i discovered that the PC Suite version on the laptop was the one that wasnt bundled with the cable drivers and i think the cable drivers hadnt been installed so i uninstalled that old version and downloaded the latest PC suite version from nokia.com which comes with the cable drivers software and hey presto!
So wen u have launched this version or any other, first launch the suite then connect cable then press connect now and follow prompts till u see the 6280 displayed in a window, choose that and click finish and u r good to go. if u still got problems tell us about them
