hi.....can any body plz tell me how to run mp4 files on 6280...i found 4 factory supplied mp4 files but they dont run...an error msg showing "file format not supported" comes....

anybody got a clue why my PC wont connect with this phone! seems to be a common problem looking at the nokia website....tried everything suggested..no joy...looking for salvation

hello,
i have my 6280 from about 45 days, the phone is realy good, but with some points that lacks it
-speaker not high
-dust collector, i can't get cover for it
-no control over the brightness of the camera (brightness is high)
-the 3gp vedio captured with the camera encoded with format that is unsupported with any media else nokia media player
and can't shared with any phone else
-mp3/media player does not have any option to forword or backword
-i can't send using IR, but i can recive
-the most bad problem that i descoverd, that there is no J2ME realplayer exist, i can't play rm files, - oh smartphones :)
-amr files is vary low on it
i have V 3.60 i don't know if the newest version will help to fix the software problems or not
and if some one know how to get the software from the internet it will be helpfull

i was trying to set password for my memorycard.When i pull my memory card out, the phone can no longer read my memory card. I cannot even try to key in my password. The system just cannot detect the existence of the card. Can anyone tells me what's wrong? An urgent solution is needed. Thanks!

I completely agree with the reviews here. Battery life sucks, doesn't last more than a day. My antenna-IC unit is dead now and doesn't recognize any signal. Some bad features of Nokia have been carried forward to the latest phones too. For instance, lets say u r searching for John's number, so you key in 'j' and then press the 'mno'button thrice to get to 'o'. But in case u pressed it only once(i.e., 'm') or twice (i.e., 'n'), it doesn't lists show you 'John'. This is very annoying. Why wont it allow me scroll down to other names that are beyond the current letter combination? When will Nokia fix such issues?

3.81 is the old software, the original with the most problems, v05.92 is the newest and apparently shouldnt have any problems, but i doubt that coz they said that about all the software they've used so far. If your phone does play up however you can use that to your advantage, to get away from mine i told them i was promised I wouldnt have any problems with my software and I have.

this phone i just got it also. Trying to understand its 'internal organs'.. bought a memory card.. now trying to switch some datas to memory card instead of phone memory.. but how do i do it?? don understand.. also trying to download songs with a cardreader.. but cant seems to get it!! how huh?? :)

To open the back cover with ease use a coin to push the bottom edge of the back cover while using the other hand to grip the middle portion of the phone.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE i have had one for 2 months and nows its starting to break any everythign is going wrong,
it always turns its self odd every 5-10 min
battery life is at most a day
i can never get a signal for more than 5 min it goes check info servie
i can not send text messages without it turning off 1/2 way thru my message, it is totally to much effort for the phone i am currently sending it back and gettign the new sony ericson 810i it is a lot better phone

when I insert the sim and used my phone, after 24 hours when I was using it it's screen went black and turned off and it doesn't turn on anymore

I think the phone it's fine.I have a problem and please help! The question is: where has all my internal memory gone? there should be almost 6 Mb free, but it shows only 346 kB. because of that I can't apply my themes because it says "not enough memory". Are there some settings that I could make so my phone can use it's memory card, instead of the phone's internal memory, or is there a way to find out for what the phone uses allmost it's entire internal memory? This it's getting very frustrating, because every time that I try to apply a new theme, the phone warns me that it's imposible to do that because of it's small space... where is the problem?

Battery life is not satisfied. Sometimes takes restart. But overall GOOD Phone.

Hi, i have recently bought this phone and got a few sound clips from frds.... turns out that a few of thm give me "file corrupted" error and it wrks fine with other phones .... also there was one sound clip that wrked fine on 6600 but not on my phone... the vol of that on my phone is really low...cant here it at all.... can some1 tell me wht the prob might be????

i got this phone recently believeing 3.81 (which the phone is) was the newest version, but when i contacted nokia baout the reebot problems they said it needed upgrading!
