this fon is the best.. never experienced those restarts you're talkin about.. This fon has the best video qlty and resolution for its price range so i recommend this fon to all.. I dunno y you people keep on complaining about restarting and hang ups? or maybe im just lucky to have not experienced one.. xiaoooooooooooo!!!

I would like to contradict the statemnt in the review about the headset or earphone sound quality. It has an excellent sound quality with the HS-23. It even gives better effects than the SE Walkman headset(with the exception of Mega Bass). There is no practical defect in the phone except for the sliding mecchanism which is almost OK but Samsung has much better sliders. If the software version or the performance or speed is considered the Nokia 6233 is the King.

prMb, mine's just done exactly the same thing! Exactly what you described. It'll then attempt to turn on but only partially manages it then the screen goes black each time. This happens about 3 times following the brief Nokia welcome screen until it finally gives up.
I shall be returning it.
What are you doing about yours?
Oh, prMb, were you trying to bluetooth anything to your handset prior to your problems?

one of the many questions asked for nokia 6280 is, why is the battery life so short
well mine one would last me 3 to 4 days on it, the reason being is when u first purchase a phone u must give it a solid charge, then only u should charge it when it runs out or close to running out.
if u put in charge every day, wat the fone does is it starts relying on this often charge and will run out quicker, so the fault is not with the phone or nokia its u.....
and the reason y it will last 3 days or so is, there are many features and applications so it needs the battery to run all this (its not the same as your old brick that lasts forever

this is THE worst phone ever!!! Had 2 on contract both been in for repair twice and still breaking down, error messages, blank screen. i even had a new one sent and....you got it, it keeps breaking down. if you do buy this phone keep a quid handy for the phone box cos you'll need it one day trust me.

emmm...at 1st,i though that the battery was a fake one.then after i check it through nokia website,the battery is the original one.for me,only one problem with this 6280 that is the battery can't stand long.since now,i charge my battery almost everyday.tired wo0...is there any solution for it?

sharp crisp photos better than any nokia which has 3 MP...easy 2 operate n sleek.D only thing it's easily get scratch..value 4 yr money n won't regret it.

i liked the 6280 with its features and everything but the screeen is to fragile, i ahd the phone for about two weeks and it broke twice that also includes the tiem that it took to repair it the first time, i think a phone should be able to withstand the slightest bump

I have a BIG PROBLEM. My 6280 turned itself off and now i can't turn it on again. It only shows the Nokia welcome screen for a second then it disappears and it turns itself off. Any ideas? Has anyone had a similar problem?

i found the phone quite good but the battery runs out quite quickly (within 2-3 days). Apart from that i think that it has good memory and an excellent camera. Overall i would say that the phone is a good qualty phone.
